A successful edition of Andalusian Olympic Week ended in El Puerto

Farewell and closing of height in the Gaditana Bay... the race deals more than a dozen absolute titles between Spanish, Lusos, Croats and Ukrainians... the Andalusian Pilar Lamadrid and the Portuguese Carolina Joao make full in the iQFoil and ILCA classes 6
The Andalusian Olympic Week was fired on Monday in the Gaditan Bay with a new splendid day, marked by lifting winds of twelve knots of medium intensity and squeezed to the maximum to complete a slalom test in the area of the tables and another for the fleets of 420, Finn and ILCA in its area.
All the iQFoil fleets today changed to the slalom format, leaving a spectacular picture in front of the beaches of Levante and Valdelagrana. Change of third and the same superiority demonstrated by the Andalusian Pilar Lamadrid that is fired as it began, winning the final test to get an accumulated 13 wins in so many other tests. The NC Puerto Sherry windsurfer has been intrepable and untiring throughout the four days that the championship has lasted, and is fired by the big door on the top of a podium that complete by this order the Hungarian Sara Cholnoky and the British Alice Read.
There are also no surprises between the senior male fleet of iQFoil, where the victory of Dutch Huig-Jan Tak is confirmed, escorted in the second and third drawer by the German Sebastian Koerdel and his compatriot Luc Schmitz, champion of the category Sub 21. The second and third place among the youngest in the fleet is for the Dutch also Max Castelein and the Italian Nicolo Renna, the last winner of the closing test. In the same classification, Fernando Lamadrid (CN Puerto Sherry) seals a sixth meritoria, and Fernando Martínez del Cerro (CAND Chipiona) signs the ninth.
Among the younger windsurfers, the hand-to-hand between the Swedish Nystrom and the Polish Pietrzak is decided on the side of the first by three points, and is accompanied by the Andalusian podium of the CN Sevilla Daniel Sánchez Bellido. Along with Nystrom and Pietrzck, the third Sub 17 is the Polish Maciej Poplony. Among the girls wins the Dutch Hidde Boon, followed by Pola Wawrzynick and Aleksandra Wasiewicz.
The Gadian Pablo Guitian (CN Elcano) remains at a podium point in the Finn Olympic class, where the victory of Croatian Bugarin is confirmed with a new partial victory in the farewell. The Croatian Vujasinović and the Hungarian Berecz with a point less than the CN Elcano sportsman who scored a third in the final test are accompanied on the final podium.
There are also no surprises in class 420, where the brothers Fernando and Carlos Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry) achieve the double with the absolute and the class's Andalusian championship. The crew of the CN Puerto Sherry won the last test in their class and dominate a podium that complete the crews of Manuel Alvarez-Dardet and Manuel Páez (CN Puerto Sherry / CN Sevilla) and that of Marta Alvarez-Dardet and Paloma Flethes, of the CN Puerto Sherry.
In class ILCA 7, the athlete Eduardo Marques takes the absolute title for the neighbouring country showing much superiority throughout the championship. The doubts behind are resolved with the absolute subchampionship and title Sub 21 for the regatist of Tenerife Leopold Christian Barreto, followed by two more points by the Galician Roberto Bermudez de Castro, third absolute and junior subchampion. At the podium doors the third Sub 21 is the lush Andre Granadeiro. The first master's degree is Angel Contreras of the RCN of El Puerto de Santa María.
The Portuguese Carolina Joao is next to Lamadrid the other imbatted champion throughout the championship, if any in the Olympic class ILCA 6 with a total of nine tests. The Ukrainian Naumenki and Yelyzaveta, the last sub 21 champion, accompany him in the winning drawer.
The first Sub 19 is the Sevillian Carmen Antequera from a meritorious eighth place in the general, followed by the regatists of the CN Elcano Rocío Van Stuivenberg and Lola Belize. Among the boys, the Ukrainian Andrew Verdysh, followed by the Andalusian Alfredo Gómez (CN Sevilla) and the regatist of Benidorm Mariano Cebria, and the first master's degree is the athlete of the CN Sevilla Santiago García Cubilana.
2021-02-28: Andalusian Olympic Week... the lift tests the participants in the final line
The 25-kt lift has led to impressive sleeves between the tables with Foil, whose youth fleet as well as the 420 remained on the ground, while the rest of the tables played four tests, the ILCA three and the Finn two more... at the Andalusian Olympic Week that tomorrow ends in the Port of Santa Maria.
Without taking away any merit from the previous ones, the four new victories of Pilar Lamadrid should be worth double, for the conditions and also because after three very hard days the windsurfer of the CN Puerto Sherry has not given up a meter to tiredness in a championship that has more than won. Impressive performance of Lamadrid that approaches the title very much left over, a step from getting his third absolute trophy of Foil in just six months. The Hungarian Sara Cholnoky and the British Alice Read are followed by three points that give them room to compete for silver and bronze.
Among the senior male fleet of iQFoil, Dutch Huig@-@ Jan Tak discards an offline in the first test and wins the other three to get very sure to the absolute triumph, followed to more than twenty points by German Sebastian Koerdel and also Dutch Luc Schmitz new in the third place after his best day. Among the Spaniards, Fernando Lamadrid (CN Puerto Sherry) maintains the sixth square after a day in which he has faced conditions with champ ways. Too bad an off-line that you had to throw away with discards, preventing you from going up some steps in the general. It also maintains the position of Fernando Martínez del Cerro (CAND Chipiona), eighth, with a day in which it has shone as always among the best in the fleet.
Good day of the Andalusian Pablo Guitian in the Finn class, where the athlete of the CN Elcano grew up with the wind and after adding a ninth and a second and with the possibility to finally rule out the off-line that he dragged from the inaugural day, it is put two points from the winner's drawer. Impressive will be the outcome in this class, where the Croatian Bugarin and the Hungarian Berecz will play the title to one point now in favor of the first. Both open a gap with the third classified, the Croatian Vujasinović, forced to mark the gaditan if he wants to keep the podium to the end.
Nothing makes the leadership of the Portuguese Eduardo Marques stagger in class ILCA 7, where the lust marks two new so many and caresses a title that only one debacle can take from it. The changes come from behind, with a coup of effect from the Coruñés Roberto Bermudez de Castro who today has shown his race to climb to the second square, resolving the tie to points with the regatist of Tenerife Leopoldo Christian Barreto. Both are played tomorrow the absolute subchampionship and the sub-21 championship also chosen by the Portuguese André Ganadeiro, fourth with six more points.
Something similar happens in the Olympic class ILCA 6 Feminine, where the Portuguese Carolina Joao follows its triumphal path to the title, with more than a dozen points on the Ukrainian Sofia Naumenko. The Lusa regatist remains unbeatable beyond Naumenko's goal, who will fight tomorrow to keep the second square with his compatriot Vynohradova to which he rents three points. At three podium is now the Ukrainian Gumenko, followed to a single point by the Spanish Laura Himmes, second Sub 21, to whom the Andaluza of CN Fuengirola Elena Pérez Navarrete is subdued.
For its part, the Andalusian Alfredo Gómez has access to the second place among the boys of class ILCA 6, showing a perfect state of shape on a very hard day. The CN Sevilla sportsman had as the only obstacle in the victory of today's two tests the Ukrainian Verdysh, who again won to tie the absolute title with ten points less than Gómez and the regatist of Benidorm Mariano Cebria, third with the same points as the Andalusian.
Too much wind for the iQFoil and 420 youth fleet that remained on the ground, so that tomorrow will be a decisive day to resolve the title between the first, with only one point of difference between the Swedish Nystrom and the Polish Pietrzak, second, followed with a dozen more by the Andaluz of the CN Sevilla Daniel Sánchez Bellido.
In class 420, things have to go very badly tomorrow so that the absolute and autonomous title is escaped to the brothers Fernando and Carlos Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry) who rent five points to the crew of Manuel Álvarez-Dardet and Manuel Páez (CN Puerto Sherry / CN Sevilla), seconds. Tomorrow will also be the day to confirm Marta Alvarez- Dardet and Paloma Flethes, of CN Puerto Sherry, in the third absolute and first place Sub 17 and female.
Tomorrow a much quieter day is expected as far as conditions are concerned and will be the last chance to compete for the target from 11: 00. After the race will be the time to recognize the winners at the trophy ceremony that will take place in the courtyard of ceremonies of the Specialized Center of Sports Tecnification of Vela Bay of Cadiz, in an act that will chair Paco Coro as president of the Andaluza accompanied by the City Council of El Puerto de Santa María, Lola Campos.
2021 / 02 / 27: Andalusian Olympic Week: Pilar Lamadrid remains imbued among the women's fleet of iQFoil

The Gaditan Carnival is in the water... the race haunts the equator with a spectacular second day in search of objectives
Second round of the 17th edition of the Andalusian Olympic Week, which has at stake the first twenty-first of the Carnival Trophy, marked by winds of 15 knots of average intensity with 18, today with less waves and no rain. +
Among the Spaniards, the young Pilar Lamadrid, who is still imbued between the women's iQFoil fleet, and the crew of the Flethes brothers in class 420, continue to be flagged, although there are not few who occupy podium positions or stand out among a very high level fleet. The Carnival Trophy reaches the equator with plethoric participants for the opportunity and quality of the Gaditan bay.
Pilar Lamadrid adds up and continues with four others - and they go on to do so - and with the discards of one of them he already puts nine points to the Hungarian Sara Cholnoky and two more to the British Alice Read. Between the two seems to be the only fight on the podium in the remaining championship, with Puerto Sherry's very safe in the head.
In the same fleet the Young men sail and among these, a point now separates the Swedish Nystrom from the Polish Pietszak, second. The third post is still in the hands of the Andalusian Daniel Sánchez Bellido (CN Sevilla) who is away from hand to hand between the first two, and focuses on holding the podium and keeping the Polish Siwek at bay, fourth with four more points.
Among the senior male fleet of iQFoil, the third best in the world, the Dutch Huig@-@ Jan Tak, increases the distance from the top by adding two new victories and two second positions, overtaken in two tests by the German Sebastian Koerdel who is also going to second place helped by the discarding of a bad result on Friday. With more than ten points between them, another twelve distance the German from the Dutch Max Castelein, the absolute third and first Sub 21.
Fernando Lamadrid (CN Puerto Sherry), for his part, remains a leader among the Spaniards from a meritorious sixth absolute square, followed by Fernando Martínez del Cerro (CAND Chipiona), who recovers a post until the eighth. The first Spanish Sub 21 in this fleet is the athlete of the CN Sevilla, Fernando Samalea, followed by his club partner Aurelio Terry, who accuses the least weight against larger windsurfers in conditions of strong winds.
The Andalusian Pablo Guitian (CN Elcano) follows first Spanish and sixth in the Finn class general with a sixth and a fourth in the two tests of the day. The first post remains in the hands of the Hungarian Berecz, followed by the Croatian Bugarin, which cuts the distance to a single point. Swords in high between the two, with the third classified, the Croatian also Vujasinović, nine and ten points away, respectively. The next Spanish is the veteran Gerardo Seelinger who was today in a turn and was "rescued" in the water by the president of the Andalusian, Paco Coro, who was a spectator in the race area. Impressive the quality of this 74-year-old sportsman to the command of one of the toughest ships in the light sail, "It is an example for all, with a commendable spirit that many already wanted," President Coro said very impressed.
The brothers Fernando and Carlos Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry) validate two victories to keep their leadership in class 420 unchanged and increase to five the points of difference with the crew of Manuel Álvarez- Dardet and Manuel Páez (CN Puerto Sherry / CN Sevilla), seconds. The changes arrive in the third place, now in the hands of Sub 17 Marta Alvarez- Dardet and Paloma Flethes of CN Puerto Sherry, who also access the female leadership.
The Portuguese Eduardo Marques takes advantage of the rents and discards to remain in the head of the class ILCA 7 after a day in which he has broken his unbeatable. However, the luso not only holds but increases to seven and nine points the advantage with the Ukrainian Saidukov and the regatist of Tenerife Leopold Christian Barreto, second and third, respectively. Barreto, first Sub 21, has to shoot the absolute subchampionship and will also have to look back to withstand the pressure already exerted by the Galician Roberto Bermudez de Castro, fourth with four more points.
In the Olympic class ILCA 6 Feminine, the Portuguese Carolina Joao remains imbued in its goal, followed by nine more points by the Ukrainian Sofia Naumenko, two ahead of her compatriot Katerina Gumenko who is on the podium to the detriment of the regatist of Calpe, Lara Himmes, now fourth to one point.
The Spanish follow first Sub 21 but the Ukrainian Vynohradova, the fourth absolute and second juvenile, followed by the Andalusian Elena Navarrete, of CN Fuengirola. Among the male fleet is the same podium with the Ukrainian Verdysh in head, followed by five more points by the regatist of Benidorm, Mariano Cerbian, who rents only one to the Andaluz of the CN Sevilla, Alfredo Gómez, who today won one of the tests.
Tomorrow Sunday will be the penultimate day for the outcome of Monday, with the first departures planned from noon and a forecast that points to strong rising winds.
2021 / 02 / 26: Andalusian Olympic Week: Lamadrid (iQFoil) and the Flethes brothers (420) Spanish leaders
Nice start of the Andalusian Olympic Week in El Puerto de Santa María, with a first day marked by winds of fifteen knots of medium intensity and a sea stirred after the passage of a persistent chubucco. With more or less luck, the fleet today concentrated on controlling ships and boards in a complicated bay that has left them exhausted. Four tests the iQFoil tables, three ILCA and 420, and two Finn, is the balance of the first of the four rounds that will complete the championship until Monday.

The couple formed by the brothers Fernando and Carlos Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry) takes the lead of the absolute and the autonomous championship of class 420, with two and a second in a test in which they were overcome by Manuel Álvarez-Dardet and Manuel Páez (CN Puerto Sherry / CN Sevilla), seconds with four more points.
