The Hydrogen Council is a global initiative created in 2017, bringing together leading international companies in its sector with a common vision, whose long-term objective is to make hydrogen one of the cornerstones for a clean energy transition.

The institution promotes collaboration between Governments, investors and multi-industry and sector organizations. In this way, it provides a very complete vision for deploying hydrogen solutions worldwide. The Council now has 109 companies from more than 20 countries, bringing together a wide range of sectors along the entire hydrogen value chain.

In the face of the current climate emergency, hydrogen is a key strategic element in the global effort to build a low-carbon future. In a context of energy transition, compliance with and guarantee of the production, storage and distribution of new sustainable energies is a particular challenge. In this way, Bureau Veritas becomes one of the key organizations in the energy transition, which are present in the renewable and alternative energy industry.
