The health situation of the Covid19, the restrictions at the regional, national and international levels require that this decision be made by the organizing committee of the race, which is made up of the clubs of St. Petersburg Yacht Club and the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia

The OptiOrange 2021, which was scheduled to be held from 4 to 7 March, is cancelled by the current crisis and evolution of the Covid19, as well as by the health restrictions established at the regional, national and international levels. The health of the regatists, coaches and technical staff is the main priority of the Organizing Committee, which is made up of the clubs of St. Petersburg Yacht Club and the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia.

Both clubs have announced the launch of the virtual race OptiOrange Valencia 2021... the race will be held at the base of the online simulator Virtual Regatta from March 4, being the first virtual international children's race for children under the age of 15.
