ANAVRE Meeting with the Andalusian Institute of Sport on Nautical Qualifications

From ANAVRE wants to thank the Andalusian Institute of Sport again for the predisposition that it has been having for a few months with the issues related to the nautical of recreation
We have received from ANAVRE Andalucía this press release, concerning the meeting organized by the Andalusian Institute of Sport (IAD) with the "Andalusian schools homolagadas..." in which the following points were discussed, regarding the 2021 calls:
1) Resolution to make two calls in 2021, one on May 22 and one on November 20. The headquarters will be the usual ones: Cadiz, Málaga and Sevilla... although some schools requested the extension to three calls, from ANAVRE we support the initiative of the IAD to call only two, and we do them to avoid the situation last year meant the suspension of one of the calls which caused in addition to the losses to the schools by having to extend the courses until July, as well as the disenchantment for the seekers by seeing how they were delayed, in some CCAA until December.
2) Presentation for consideration without previous title... although it was a topic that was hardly discussed, the IAD questioned the validity of the resolution of the GMSD by allowing them to be submitted to the PY or CY examination without having the previous title. In this case we do not share with the IAD its basis for questioning this interpretation criterion, first because the DGMM is the only body capable of interpreting its own rules and second because the IAD itself is based on RD 875 / 2014 of 10 October to reject some demands (online radio course, modification and practice communications...). On the other hand, according to RD 875 / 2014 itself of 10 October, it empowers the Director General of Merchant Marina and the Ministry of Development itself to make changes to the RD... for this reason, from ANAVRE we will request the DGMM to speed up the modification of the RD or, in its absence, send the above-mentioned interpretation to all the CCAAs with mandatory compliance, although the ideal would be that the modification of the RD be processed as soon as possible.
3) Development of a manual with the development of the various programmes... which was the most discussed point because a group of schools refuse to do so. From ANAVRE we understand that we cannot continue to allow the arbitrariness of the different courts, and for this there are only two solutions, the creation of a manual or, in its absence, the publication of two or three bibliography of the usual authors, an option that, to avoid harm and possible grievances, would be the most appropriate. In the end, however, it was known that the insistence of these schools, which do not involve the majority, is nothing other than that of the options that have been cut off, both of them are detrimental to them because they are not able to obtain the expected income from the sale of their "notes."
