It has become the first team to formalize its registration for the new event

The Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team has become the first team to register in The Ocean Race Europe, following the opening of the registration deadline earlier this week.

The first edition of The Ocean Race Europe is scheduled for the end of spring this year and is open to VO65 teams and IMOCA 60. The event will have several stages from the Atlantic coast of Europe to the Mediterranean, with a maximum of four stops on the route... your programming will be revealed in the coming days...

Based in the Lusian city of Cascais, the Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team will compete on board its Racing for the Planet, in the VO65 class, the ocean monotypes that hit records and starred in the most equal edition of the history of The Ocean Race in 2017- 18.

The Ocean Race Europe is scheduled for the months of May and June of this year... its organizers will prioritize the health and safety of all participants, the public and all stakeholders and will respect with absolute compliance... all regulations and protocols with respect to the Covid-19.
