Because of the current situation of the global pandemic caused by the Covid19, the Organizing Committee of the International Vila Palamós Optimist Trophy 2021 has officially reported the cancellation of the 2021 edition, which was scheduled to be held from 18 to 21 February... after 32 editions, this year, exceptionally, the organization has been forced to make this difficult decision.

The constant increase in the number of infections, the prospect of spikes in the coming weeks, as well as the mobility restrictions and new health measures that can be extended in the near future would have prevented the normal development of the race.

Unfortunately, the organization of hosting the event in Palamós in February has had to be renounced, and it is confirmed that the Orgnizative team of Palamós Optimist Trophy will continue to work for the next edition.

In the coming weeks the organizers will return the registration rights to the same credit card with which the payment was made... from Palamós you want to thank all the registered participants and their coaches for their trust and illusion and we hope to see you all in Palamós from 16 to 20 February 2022.
