The 54th Nautical Week of Alicante closes and does so with the last three champions. Foxy Lady in ORC A, Attica in ORC B and Kiara III in ORC Cruise Club, complete the picture of the winners in the event organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, marked this year by the pandemic, reducing the number of participants and their provenance, although not for this reason has lost the essence that marks one of the most important races of the national and international calendar for many regatists with more than 50 years of history.

Despite this, the Club has worked since December 3, starting with the Light Sailing (ILCA, Bic Techno, IQ Open Foil, Raceboard), to offer as always its best image, in this edition under strict safety measures and health protocol. After them, a week later, they were the 'peques' and their Optimist of protagonists, until they reached this third weekend with the Fishing, Remo and Cruises, who have lowered the curtain at the Club de Regatas. It has been about 150 athletes in each of the disciplines and classes.

This second and last day, in which the Regatas Committee plans to complete two tests to the wind (barlovento-sotavento) Eolo wanted to be completely absent, leaving as a valid test held yesterday Saturday, December 19, with the emblematic tour on the return to the island of Tabarca.

However, the IMX45 Foxy Lady (CN Campello) armed by Klaus Bauer is made with the triumph in the 54th Nautical Week of Alicante in ORC A. The podium is completed with the Trabuco (RCN Torrevieja) of Francisco Martínez, while the bronze is for another represents of this same club: Maverta, by Pedro Gil. The Grand Soleil 50, Spaniard, led by Juan Rodríguez, has been the best local representative, taking up the 4th place of the general.

Alicantine color in ORC B and ORC Cruise Club, all with representatives of the RCR Alicante in the three podium positions. In the first of them the drawer has occupied it: Atica, de Alejandro Sánchez, X Tutatis, de Luis Esperanza and Tatán, de Alberto Jerez, while in the second category Kiara III of José Manuel Trujillo; Grisol, de José Mª Guerras y Polvorón, de Miguel Palomares, close the first three squares. As for the joint classification of ORC A and B, the podium has been configured with Atica, followed by Foxy Lady and X Tutatis.

The award of trophies, in which he has given the gold and brilliant badge of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante to Juan Rodriguez, as well as his diploma as a merit partner... as to Nacho Campos who have also given him the distinction of merit partner.
