Almarin, the award company of the 2020 navigation aid competition, has carried out the new beacons in the Dársena del Cuarto, the updating of equipment in a waffle and the replacement of two steel buoys by other elastomer buoys in the Bra de Sanlúcar

The Harbour Authority of Seville continues in its constant improvement of navigation in the Guadalquivir... for this new beacon of the Dársena del Cuarto, Almarin has made a total of seven Balizamar B1600T buoys (2 side port, 3 side starboard, a special mark and a northern cardinal) with their respective LED projectors. Two Guia G3000TW buoys, in addition to their respective LED lanterns and two AIS equipment, have been installed for the Sangular Bra.

For the C-enphilation, two high-tech LED projectors have been installed with two monitoring modules and, finally, Almarin has provided two four-metre ALT 3 cylindrical posts for the darsena, in the area of the old lock.

It is worth noting the choice of a grey floating buoy according to the most recent recommendations of the IALA for the cardinal buoy of the bass of Picacho. This new color configuration does not consider the color of the floater as part of the signal, ensuring that the necessary colors are incorporated in the castle.

Since 2015, the Harbour Authority of Seville has been working to incorporate new technologies into the field of the Aids of Navigation in the Eurovía del Guadalquivir, with a total investment that has exceeded the million euros.
