Vasileia Karachaliou of Greece, declared himself the absolute winner of the Canary Olympic Week... in the final computation among the ten participating classes, who gathered in caraione waters more than 200 athletes from several countries... and three areas of the bay of Las Palmas, with winds for moments on the horizon and the 25 knots, caused the field of regats to be really hard, that is to see a great show...

An exciting fight in ILCA 4... between the Hungarian Zsombor Berecz and the Spanish Joan Cardona; with a fleet of 7 ships... who from the first compasses held a duel without barracks in which they equitably alternated the leadership of the provisional, reaching the last day with the swords on the high. A suffocating marking on the starting line between Joan Cardona and Russian Arkadii Kistanov allowed Zsombor to escape, win the last test comfortably and take the championship.

In ILCA 7 the Dutch Niels Broekhuizenno gave choice to the rest of the fleet, winning six of the twelve tests and coming out today with a comfortable advantage to meet the file. Joaquín Blanco ended second and the third was very contested during the championship between Carlos Roselló (Spain), Enrique Arathoon (El Salvador) and Viktor Tepell (Czech Republic), resolving in favor of the latter. Grancanary Joel Rodríguez an injury forced him to retire in the middle of the championship. In ILCA6 the Hungarian Maria Erdi began with three crushing victories, but two disqualified relegated her to the fourth position of the general.

Once the wind was glowing in the equator of the competition, Lithuanian Viktorija Andrulyte managed to sneak into the podium in third position. The German Svenja Weger was awarded its great regularity in all the races with the second place of the podium, but it was the Greek Vasileia Karachaliou who best pressed at the end of the championship achieving the final triumph.

In the top ten, two Spaniards, Cristina Pujol in the seventh place and Carlota Sánchez in the tenth. In ILCA4, clear superiority of the local Ernesto Suárez, who, despite having a retired in the third exhaustion test, the first seven he accumulated, allowed him a long victory. He was accompanied on the podium by his fellow RCNGC Viktor Chavdarov and third by the Fémina Mar Betancort of the CN Arrecife.

The Techno 293 class, outstanding the performance of Enrichetta Bettini in category 6.8 with a sixth as the worst result while Isidro Enríquez collected the first prize in category 7.8. Angel Granda, recently arrived from the RS: X European, participated in the Tecno Plus class where he dragged away.

In the 29th class, female domain of the Laiseca Barrio sisters. Paula and Elena remain first and Isabel and Paula second, winning the game to Carlos Navas / Gonzalo Bonilla who had remained second until the last day.

The Mallorcan-Catalan tandem of Pablo Ruíz / Javier Mestre walked during the Olympic week, as a total of 15 points separated him from the Catalan Pau Lfree / Alberto Marsans. The women Alejandra Pérez / Ana Bautista took the big leap in the last day taking advantage of the wind drop.
