The GC32 Racing Tour closes 2020 in white by the global pandemic but looks enthusiastically at a 2021 season that will lead to the fleet of GC32 flying catamarans to five European headquarters between April and November, including a new port on the French Mediterranean coast and the celebration of the world class championship, the GC32 World Championship 2021

The eighth season of the GC32 Racing Tour will be held in a careful selection of sites characterized by the conditions of navigation suitable for the show GC32: constant wind and little wave, a combination located in different scenarios such as mountain lakes in Italy or bays on the Mediterranean coast of France and on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. A dozen teams from countries such as Australia or the United States have confirmed their intention to thwart the 2021 fleet.

The calendar will begin with the arrival of spring in France, one of the spiritual homes of the circuit and country of origin of much of the crews. The GC32 Occitanie Cup will be held from 21 to 25 April in a new headquarters for the GC32: Port Camargue au Grau du Roi, on the north end of the Gulf of León.

The second event of 2021 will take the circuit back to one of the preferred headquarters of its participants. The GC32 Riva Cup will be held between 26 and 30 May in Riva del Garda, on the north end of the beautiful Lake of Garda (Italy), known for its conditions of 15-20 knots of wind and its impressive setting drawn on the Dolomites range. This will be the fifth visit of the GC32 Racing Tour to Garda, a place that hosted in 2018 the historic first world championship of the class.

The third event of the season will be held in another reference for the GC32 Racing Tour: the Portuguese town of Lagos. The GC32 Lagos Cup will be held from June 30 to July 4 in this protected bay located in the south-western end of Europe, very close to the Cape of San Vicente, an authentic amusement park for the flying catamarans thanks to its magnificent conditions. Lagos successfully hosted the GC32 World Championship in 2019.

The GC32 World Championship 2021 will be held from 15 to 19 September in Villaimius, south of Sardinia. This popular Italian tourist destination, known for its beaches, its flamingos population, its saltwater lake and the natural reserve of Capo Carbonara, is an essential date for the GC32 Racing Tour since its entry into the circuit in 2017.
