The 29er fleet has been one of the leading classes this past bridge, with Olympic Week in the Gran Canaria RCN and the 1st Criteric 29er CNSA / Es Nàutic

The 29er fleet continues to grow and remains a leading player in the main national races. If Valencia and Las Palmas were protagonists a few days ago, on this long bridge the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, in Ibiza, has taken the witness of the capital of the Turia organizing the 1^erCritérium 29er CNSA, while the RCN Gran Canaria repeats, on this occasion with the prestigious Olympic Sailing Week.

Very different weather conditions on the two islands. In Las Palmas, good wind conditions allowed the program to be completed with 12 tests. In Sant Antoni de Portmany, only 4 tests were closed. On both quotes' the new 'again offered a high level and adaptation to the demanding 29er class, making it very difficult for the' veterans' to win.

In Las Palmas Paula Laiseca and Elena Barrio, current champions of Spain 29er, they made the triumph quite clear, according to the difference with the second ones classified: Isabel Laiseca and Paula Barrio, which was 5 points. The Canary Olympic Week champions of Vela achieved 6 partial wins over 12 tests, adding 14 points after 2 discards.

The podium was completed with Isabel Laiseca and Paula Barrio, highlighting three victories, while Carlos Navas and Gonzalo Bonilla, third parties, scored 24 points as the first male crew on the canarian date.

If in Las Palmas the weather conditions were 'good' just the opposite in Sant Antoni, with wind that reached 30 knots of intensity, which led to the closing of the Iberian quote with only 4 tests. Leopoldo Pérez Fontán Bylin and Melania Henke Riera (RCN Palma) achieved the final triumph thanks to the 3 points (1 discards applied) and the three wins achieved.

The podium was closed with another palmesan crew from the same club, formed by Marina Leticia Conde and Max Contesti, achieving 5 points in their locker. The bronze was for the local Cristián García and Laura García, with 8 points at the end of the race.
