The tenth edition of the Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy starts the countdown... a little more than a month to start the meeting at the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja the preparations and put to the point of the club are intensified: the dates from 27 to 31 next January... with a maximum of 300 regatists... as the health standards command.

The ships and equipment will be located in an exceptional way this occasion on the beach of Acequion, in the vicinity of the Pier de la Sal, placing the ships by groups of countries and clubs, forming a bubble between them and thus ensuring social distance... access to 'that bubble' will be carried out by strict entry control, to which only accredited staff will be able to access... there will be no social events and the delivery of trophies will have an unusual development.

The Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja is aware of the current situation, but thanks to a great effort of the public institutions and bodies, of the City of Torrevieja, of the federations (RFEV, FVCV), of the Club itself and in particular its main sponsor Euromarina, it has wanted to carry out this race in 2021 with the aim of returning in 2022, without everything going well, to its usual headquarters and to that 'family' environment that has characterized and made special the race Optimist Torrevieja.
