The final of the Xacobeo Trophy - the Spanish Championship of the class 6 Metros, has this afternoon put the point and end to three days of competition in the waters of Sanxenxo... the Spanish Bribon 500 and the Portuguese Seljm are referred in the class and today have confirmed it by definitively sealing the leadership that they already held... the 6 meters of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo is also proclaimed Spanish champion of the category Classics, while Maybe XIV does the same in Open as the first Spanish ship of the general classification.

A last race very fought and unpredictable among the Classics has fired the Xacobeo Trophy... among the Classics came out into the water with a very tight general, led by Bribon 500 with only a point of advantage with respect to Caprice (2nd), two points on Titia (3rd) and four points on Aida (4th). Stardust gave the bell and soon placed in the head group, while Caprice and Bribon 500 kept a hand-to-hand, with Titia, Aida and Ian also in the fight. As the sleeve advanced, the expectation increased and the wind intensity decreased, which remained in only four knots on the last stretch of the tour. Finally Bribon 500 scored the victory for just a couple of seconds of advantage over Stardust, second.

In Open, Portuguese Seljm clearly dominated by signing his third partial victory of a total of four sleeves. The Majbe XIV of the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena was second in the general and first of the Spanish so he took the title of Spanish champion of 6M in this year 2020.
