The Lanzarote Winter Series 2020 was completed, a race for the 470 class that had a very high level of the 20 Olympic and pre-Olympic crews representing 12 countries: Israel, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Turkey, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, the United States of America and Spain.

After the celebration of 10 sleeves and the Medal Race over the weekend, the two crews representing Spain in Tokyo, were the ones who ended up selling with Jordi Xammar / Nicolás Rodríguez in boys and Silvia Mas / Patricia Cantero in girls.

In the category Masculina accompanied the winners on the podium the Portuguese Diogo Costa and Pedro Costa who finished second, the third square was in the hands of the Germans Simon Diesch and Phillipp Aunterieth.

The female podium was completed by the French Camile Lacointre and Alaise Returnaz, third by the current British world champions Hannah Mills and Eilich Mc Intyre.

Lanzarote Winter Series 2020 was organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife with the sponsorship of Naviera Armas - Transmediterranio and the collaboration of Calero Marinas, Cabildo de Lanzarote, Arrecife City Council and the Island Sports Service.
