Minimon, by Miguel Matas Ballester (ORC 1-2), and Skipper Sailing Club, by Jorge Sanz (ORC 3-4), have today proclaimed themselves the winners of the RCNP A2 2020 Trophy. The competition, reserved for ships with two crew members, has consisted of four events throughout the year, from January 12 to today.
The Blue Flag of Neus Poncell (second) and Mestral Fast of Jaume Morell (third) have completed the podium, while the silver and bronze have been, respectively, for the Blaumarina of Miguel Tejat, and the Maribel of Antonio Arnau.
The race that has put an end to the RCNP A2 Trophy, organized by the Real Club Nautico de Palma, has been held today Sunday in the Bay of Palma, with the participation of 18 boats. The test has consisted of a coastal route of 11 and 9 miles for each of the categories. The wind of NE has blown loose throughout the day, although it has been enough to complete both traverses.
The winner of the day in ORC 1-2 has been the Blue Flag, which has invested 1 hour, 54 minutes and 34 seconds and has obtained an advantage of 50 seconds in compensating on the second classified, the Swahili, by Miquel Riera. Kyo V, by Guillermo Durán, has been third, a minute and a half from the winner.
In ORC 3-4 has won the Blau Marina, with a time of 1 hour, 53 minutes and 17 seconds. The ship of Tejat has taken 2 minutes and 43 seconds to the Maribel, which has entered second position. Mateo Grimalt, to the cane of the Micanga, has occupied the third square of the partial.
