Denis Taradin and Gisela Polido are new winners of the Formula Kite Spain Series in the Open category. The Russian has proclaimed itself a winner after the last race of the season, Foil Boards FKSS 2020 FKSS. The Russian occupies the throne of Alejandro Climent who had won the two previous editions of the competition. The Valencian ends second while Simon Burner is third. In females the winner is the Spanish one followed by the Russian Sofia Kotliar and in third position has been Julia Damasiewicz.
Both Taradin and Pulido live in Tarifa during the year so for both of us today it has been a very special day to celebrate the triumph after a whole season of inconada competition. Both already think in 2021 when the FKSS will celebrate their fourth season.
The Taradin 'Zar' has been the most regular of the season in the five contested races. The regatist based in Tarifa began the season in Alarcón and Castellón with two third positions while in Mallorca he went up to the second square only over Axel Mazella while in Tarifa he finished fourth.
The one who has also won the title of the season at the F-One Formula Kite Amateur has been the Belgian based in Alfás del Pi, Regy Dils. The regatist has been imposed in the season ahead of Kiko Espí and his son, the very young and promising regatist Carlos Espí.
As regards the Tarifa test that has finished today Axel Mazella and Julia Damasiewicz have proclaimed themselves winners of the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 Tarifa after today no exit has been possible due to the strong wind that was on the beach of Los Lances of the Gaditana town. Mazella has closed a dream season in the FKSS as in the four races she has participated in she has made a second place in Alarcón and won in Castellón, Mallorca and Tarifa.
His absence in Formentera has prevented him from being the champion of the circuit in 2020. In the male podium the French has been accompanied by Croatian Martin Dolenc (number 5 in the world) and Italian Calbucci. "It has been a good week for me. I have sailed very well and, moreover, I have been able to test new material that has worked very well.
In females, Julia Damasiewicz ended up taking the victory ahead of the English Ellie Aldridge and the Polish Magdalena Woyceichowska. The FKSS podium was the same as it was in the European Championship of specialty held in Poland last summer. This gives a measure of the competitive quality in the circuit. After her good performance on Sunday, the Spanish Gisela Pulido finished fourth in the race.
Having been unable to give out in any of the classes the classifications of F-One Formula Kite Amateur and Wingfire are not changed. Thus, Regy Dils has proclaimed himself the winner of the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 in Amateur and thus wins its third victory of the season. While in Wingfire the final winner has been the Cashier Basri Halim Bin Abdul.

2020 / 12 / 06: Mazella very strong in front of the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 tariff classification

The French is approaching the triumph in the Kite Spain Series with a first and two seconds while in female Gisela Pulido goes up to the fourth place of the general who leads Damasiewicz
Axel Mazella continues as a leader in the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 Tarifa after three sleeves in the Open category today... next to the French on the podium are the Croatian Martin Dolenc and the Italian Mario Calbucci. In females, the leader is Julia Damasiewicz, followed by Ellie Aldridge, while Gisela Pulido goes up to fourth place in the female general.
The current number one in the world keeps its control over the rest of the fleet in the Kite Spain Series Formula after signing a first and two seconds on today's day. The galo is approaching its third season win in the competition as it has already won the tests of Castellón and Mallorca. Your rent in Tarifa on the second is already 13 points and you have the possibility to use the discard as your current worst result is a second place. The other two sleeves of the day in the Open category were won by the American Markus Edegran and the Russian based in Tarifa, Denis Taradin.
In the female category, Julia Damasiewicz went to the first place in the general post after being solid in his results and without making mistakes as was the case of Ellie Aldridge who in the second manga of the day could not end after being involved in an incident. Gisela Pulido had a good day in results and climbed to fourth position in the female category behind the first three of the world ranking
In the class F-One Formula Kite Amateur the great dominator was the Belgian based in Alfas del Pi (Alicante) Regy Dils. In the first manga the current circuit leader had a bad way out and that prevented him from fighting with the Sicantine Diego Barona for victory. But from that moment he dominated the three races and left the beach of the Lances with a point of advantage over Barona which leaves everything open for tomorrow's day when the two will play the victory.
Today, there have also been five Wingfire class sleeves. The class makes its premiere like this in Tarifa waters. And it was a great premiere because a total of eight regatists have participated in the test. The participants were able to complete the programme of the day with what they have already been able to reach a discard. That 'as in the manga' is the one that has allowed Basri Halim Bin Abdul to lead the competition by subtracting a 9 of an OCS in the fourth manga. In second position is the Sevillian Alejandro Gutiérrez with a point more than the leader. Third is the Valencian Rafael Gómez.
So there are the classifications in the absence of the day tomorrow... the closing at four in the afternoon.

2020 / 12 / 05: Axel Mazella begins by dominating Foil Boards FKSS2020

The French wins the five sleeves on the first day of competition in the Kite Spain Series Formula Tarifa while the English Ellie Aldridge is a female leader
Axel Mazella has started Foil Boards FKSS 2020 in a rolling way. The best regatist in the world in Kitefoil made a full five wins on the first day of the race on the beach of Los Lances in the town of Gaditana. The Russian Denis Taradin, the current leader of the Kite Spain Series Formula circuit, is second in the general and the male podium is completed by the Croatian Martin Dolenc.
In females the leader is the English ellie aldridge although tied to points with the Polish Julia Damasiewicz. For its part, Gisela Pulido has not had a good day and is in retarded positions of the general.
Axel Mazella showed his hegemony in the specialty making five first positions in the contested sleeves. The French was able to rule out a first with what in just one day already has a substantial advantage over the other competitors. "I've had a good day. I have sailed very solid in a pretty hard condition with 20 or 25 knots of wind. In France I train many times in this kind of sea and the truth is that I have found myself comfortable in the water.
Behind him the fight for the podium is going to be very hard, but Denis Taradin, the Russian who has been in Tarifa for two years, has been very well reinstated from the first complicated sleeve to make three seconds and a third that put him second and that bring him even closer to the final title of the FKSS 2020 season. Who also recovered from a failed first sleeve was the Croatian Martin Dolenc. He didn't get to the exit in time because he had trouble getting away from the beach and ended up in position 39. Then he recovered and when the fifth sleeve was completed he was already able to remove the 39's slab and ascend to the third position of the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 Tarifa.
The classes of F-One Formula Kite Amateur and Windfire today were unable to complete tests due to harsh weather conditions. The weather part is expected to improve by tomorrow and it will be the time when competitors can be put into water in both ways.

2020 / 12 / 01: High level... with special attention to girls at the FKSS in Tarifa

Eight of the first 12 women in the World ranking 2020 of the International Kiteboarding Association will be on December 4-7 in the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 Tarifa. The fifth and final test of the Kite Spain Series Formula season will have a stellar participation with the presence of the best regatists in the world of the Kitefoil specialty. The cast of registered regatists is equal to that which may be present in a European or World Championship of the specialty.
The general of the FKSS competition is dominated to date by the Spanish Gisela Pulido who won the first two races in Alarcón and Castellón, while he was second in the trials held in Mallorca and Formentera last October. In those two trials the winner was the current number one in the world, the Polish Julia Damasiewicz.
Polido, the twelve-time world champion in Kitesurf, is the clear favorite to take the final victory of the season, but in Tarifa it will be very difficult to win because the world ranking will be on the beach of the Lances four regatists who are ahead of it on the world list.
The great favorite in Tarifa will be Damasiewicz who at only 16 years old is already the number one in the world of specialty and the current champion of Europe, title obtained last summer in his country. But next to it will be the two women who accompanied him on the podium in northern European waters. The silver was for the British Ellie Aldridge while the bronze was for the other prodigy of the nascent Polish quarry, Magdalena Woyciechoswka, who also holed the podium despite being only 16 years old.
The other regatists in the leading positions of the ranking are the English Katie Dabson (fifth), Gisela Polido (eighth), the French Poema Newland, which is ninth while the British army is completed by Maddy Anderson (eleventh) and Jemima Crathorne (twelfth).
In male category participation is also of luxury. Axel Mazella, the world's number one in the IKA ranking, returns to the FKSS. French is a regular circuit and by 2020 it has been in four of the five trials disputed. Next to him will be the Russian Denis Taradin who is the favorite to be the FKSS 2020 champion. In men of the top 16 on the IKA list there will be six regatists in Tarifa. The great novelty is the presence for the first time of the Croatian Martin Dolenc who is currently the fifth best regatist in the world in the specialty. The Italian Calbucci, the Polish Max Zakowski and the Spanish Alejandro Citation are also competing, which is currently sixteenth in the male ranking.
2020 / 11 / 20: Mazella, the world's number 1, confirms her presence in the Foil Boards FKSS

The world's best regatists in Kitefoil joins the important international cast that will participate in the latest Kite Spain Series Formula
The number one in the world in the specialty of kitefoil, Axel Mazella, has confirmed its participation in the Foil Boards FKSS 2020 Tarifa. The French will be on the beach of Los Lances in the city of Gaditana from December 4 to 7 to participate in the final test of the Formula Kite Spain Series.
Mazella is also the current European champion of the specialty and has been a regular this season to the FKSS. Hyeres was second in the inaugural trial in Alarcón. He then won the stops of Castellón and Mallorca. A few commitments to the French Vela Federation prevented him from being in Formentera in the fourth test of the season, but he has now confirmed that he will be in Tarifa in two weeks.
The Polish Julia Damasiewicz also confirmed her participation. The current champion of Europe, although only 16 years old, will return to the FKSS as he was present in the tests of Mallorca and Formentera winning both in the female classification. The emerging star of this sport was impressed by the organization and level of the FKSS and has wanted to be in the final test of the season in Tarifa. And he's taken it very seriously since he's been training in Gaditan waters for two weeks to prepare the final test of the season. In Tarifa she will again have a very interesting duel with Gisela Pulido who is now a training host to her rival and partner... another who has been training for weeks in Tarifa is the British Ellie Aldridge who is the current champion of Europe for couples and one of the best regatists in the world in this specialty. The participation of the world elite in the specialty is assured... The Formula Kite Spain Series has also received the interest to participate from the teams of Britain and the Netherlands that these days are training in the waters of Valencia and that they plan to 'go down' to Tarifa a few days before the competition. The Russian delegation will also be in the race as well as the Polish one, and there is a possibility of Israeli teams and some representatives coming from the United States. Who has also confirmed his presence is the Tahitian Théo Lhostis who has already been competing in Mallorca and Formentera last October.
