The Grand Trophy Valencia, which has been held over two weekends, concludes

The first part of the race, intended for individual classes - ILCA and windsurfing in all its forms - was blank last weekend due to the absence of conditions. However, in this second part of the Grand Trophy Valencia the double classes have been able to hold sufficient tests to coronate the autonomous champions of Snipe, 420 and 29er
The Real Club Náutico de Valencia today closed the 60 edition of the Gran Trofeo Valencia, which has brought together the best regatists of ILCA, windsurfing, 420, 29er and Snipe for two weekends.
After a first day, yesterday Saturday, when meteorology only allowed a test to be held for the Snipe and 420 and two for the 29s, today the wind has blown stable from the southwest with an intensity of 15 knots and tips of 18, with no less than four tests to be held for the fleet of 29 and three to the Snipe and 420.
The 29er fleet, which brings together a good number of young promises, has had as winners and autonomous champions Quicorras Urios and Filippo Binetti, who twenty days ago achieved the fourth place at the end of the EuroCup in Lake di Garda. The Valencian dupla has been brilliant, without giving truce to its rivals, with all the first positions and a third that have been discarded.
Also very consistent were Sergi López (RCN Valencia) and Stjin Gast (RCN Calpe), who have taken the silver with four seconds, a first and a third that have been discarded. The podium was completed by the brothers Mateo and Simón Codoñer, of the RCN Valencia, with the fourth square for Sara and Isabel Momplet, of the RCN Calpe, who have been female avengers, followed by Daniela Senís and Obdulia Fernández, and Rosario de Tomas and Elena de Tomás, all of them from the RCN Valencia.
The Snipe class, which has a long tradition in the Gran Trofeo Valencia, has been the largest in this Gran Trofeo Valencia, with 30 units in liza coming from all the Spanish geography.
Imbatibles on this second day in which three tests have been held, the Mallorquins Víctor Pérez Campos and Juan Carlos Serrano Pallicer, have been made with the victory, followed by the Andalusian Ángel Ballesteros (RCN Motril) and María del Mar Gómez, of the CN Aguadulce. The third general square has been for Agustín Zabalúa and Belén Olivas, both of the RCN Valencia, which have been raised with the title of autonomy.
With a total of three disputed trials and no discards, the 420 class has had Miquel Campos, RCRA and Pablo Moreno, RCN Valencia, who also take home the autonomous championship. The second and third square have gone to the CN Altea by the hand of Alejandro and Marino Arroyo, and Guillem Serrat and Aleksis Tjurnis, and with the first female square for Silke Ter and Altea Suñer, from the same club.
Second test of the Varadero Valencia Trophy
The cruise class has also now reached the waters of the Gulf of Valencia, with the second test of the "Trophy Varadero Valencia" of the cruise class, which this year celebrates its fifth edition. The fleet has completed an 18-mile coastal tour to the Perelló, passed very close to the beaches of El Saler and offering a beautiful show. After two disputed tests, they lead the M8 table of the RCN Valencia in class ORC 1 to ORC4; Tetis, of the RCN Valencia in class Open Club, and Impulse of La Marina de València in class > 3 crew.
2020 / 11 / 08: The lack of wind rules on the first weekend of the Grand Trophy Valencia

The ILCA Autonomous Championship, Bic Techno 293, iQFoil and Raceboard, in white due to lack of conditions
The Real Club Náutico de Valencia was bringing together more than 120 windsurfing and ILCA (old class Laser) athletes from all over the Valencia Community this weekend to fight the first part of the 60th Grand Trophy Valencia, the entity's most emblematic light sailing race.
The test, which was the Autonomical Championship for the class ILCA 4 and 6 men and the modes of windsurfing Bic Techo 293, iQFoil and Raceboard, and punctuable for the Autonomical Cup 2020 / 21 for all the participating classes, was closed today in white due to the lack of weather conditions.
After a first day in blanks, where the wind did not allow any tests to be completed, today the time of departure was advanced, waiting for conditions to allow athletes to measure forces in the water. But again the lack of wind has prevented the holding of tests on this second and last day of competition.
2020 / 11 / 06: 60 Great Valencia Trophy by the hand of the Nautical for the next two weekends

The weekend of 7 and 8 November will be the test for individual classes, and on 14 and 15 November will be the turn of the double categories
The Real Club Náutico de Valencia celebrates the 60th edition of one of its most emblematic light sailing races: the Gran Trofeo Valencia, which must have postponed its usual spring date due to the health crisis and now recovers with a double date.
The race will be held in two parts, for two consecutive weekends. On November 7 and 8, the Bic Techno 293, Open Foil and Raceboard tables will compete together with the Laser class, being the Autonomical Championship and can be tested from the Autonomical Cup for all of them.
The event has managed to bring together more than 120 athletes from all the points of the Comunitat Valenciana, who for two days will measure forces in a maximum of 6 tests the Manel Casanova race field.
The table patterns, which are increasingly amateurs, have gradually increased their presence in this race. In addition, this year the iQFoil mode, which will be an Olympic class from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, is incorporated into the Grand Trophy Valencia, when it will replace the RS: X. class. These are tables that incorporate appendices called foils, which allow them to navigate over the water as if they were flying.
The weekend of November 14 and 15 will be the turn of the double classes Snipe, 29th and 420, for which the race will also be the Autonomical Championship. In fact, the Snipe class is the one that has a longer connection with the Grand Trophy Valencia, since for many years it was the main category that competed in the Valencian test, bringing together a very large fleet.
