Because of the current situation of the global pandemic... Palamós Christmas Race officially announces the suspension of the 2020 edition of the traditional Olympic class race.

After 45 years of silence, this year, and in an exceptional way, the Organization has been forced to make this difficult decision in the face of the constant increase in contagies, as well as the containment measures and mobility restrictions imposed in the different countries that had prevented the normal development of the race.

Unfortunately, the Sailing Club of Palamós cannot keep the annual Christmas meeting of the sailing in Girona's waters, as was his desire... because the health situation clearly advises it.

The organizers are grateful to all the participants already registered for their understanding... and are already working in Palamós for the next appointment: from 18 to 22 December 2021.

Last week the fall was the Viguese Atlantic Week, while the one that is a national reference at the multinational regatta level, the Abanca Week, announced the postponement of its four outstanding acts: two rowing and two sailing... to be held as soon as possible.
