The new Rodman 1290 Evolution follows the design line of the new Rodman 1090 Evolution, but maintaining the performance, robustness and character of the Rodman 1250 helmet... is certainly the turning point in the development of the new Rodman boat line

After a year of intense work... one of the best references of our nautical industry... the Rodman shipyard based on the Vigo River... launches the new Rodman 1290 Evolution, the main novelty for this season... a challenge for the shipyard in addressing the renewal of one of the most iconic models in its history.

The technical and development teams have been able to perfectly combine, know-how, our experience and quality of construction, with the most innovative design and decoration elements.

The result, the new Rodman 1290 Evolution, represents the perfect balance between the past and present, being renewed in its entirety, keeping the key attributes with more current aspects in question of design and functionality.

A versatile boat, aimed at a wide range of audiences, specialized in the practice of sports fishing, but without giving up the most exclusive cruise amenities, with two versions: Hard Top and Flybridge... which can be customized to the use and requirements that each shipowner may prefer.

In addition, following the implementation of Volvo Penta's IPS system, this new model is presented in this motorization option, but it will also be available in traditional axis system and other motorization alternatives.

The first units have installed the option of 2 Volvo IPS 600 engines, of 440 hp each, which has allowed this new model to significantly improve its performance. As a maximum speed, 36 knots were reached, making a cruise of 24-26 knots.

Volvo Penta's dynamic positioning system allows the shipowner to set the position of your boat and keep it at this point, without being in control. This functionality offers many alternatives in the practice of sports fishing as well as improving the comfort of navigation, especially in areas of plumbing and docking.

The Seakeeper 5 Giroscopic stabilizers are another of the latest generation optional equipment that has been installed in the first units. This equipment will allow the shipowner to keep the boat stable, in founding and in navigation, eliminating to 95% the balance caused by the waves. The comfort increases and in the sport fishing on a boatboard, it significantly improves the comfort and fatigue of the people on board.

The new Rodman 1290 Evolution, becomes the best choice for those shipowners who are looking for a marine ship, safe and reliable, authentic and of current, comfortable, functional lines and with the possibility of equipping it with the latest generation navigation and comfort technology.

Inside the new Rodman 1290, the incorporation of windows in the hull and the largest area of cabin windows, as well as the three-leaf access screen, give this new boat a great interior luminosity, which translates into a sense of amplitude and space available on board the boat. The selection of selected materials and the offer of decoration options, allow to configure the interior to your taste, using natural materials and textures, care and light.

This new season, the most representative models of our range of fishing vessels - promenade, are presented completely renovated: Rodman 890 Ventura, Rodman 1090 Evolution, Rodman 1290 Evolution and Rodman 33 Offshore, in total 4 new models, which mark and strengthen the leadership position of this range of vessels. The launch of the latest model, is the total renewal of one of the most emblematic models in the history of the "house..." the Rodman 1250.
