Alejandro Climent and Denis Taradin are fighting without barracks after the first day of competition of the Flying Sardine FKSS 2020 Formentera that today has been held on the Balearic Island. The current Formula Kite Spain Series champion and the Russian regatist maintain a hard fight after the six sleeves today in the pristine waters of Formentera. In the female category, the Polish Julia Damasiewicz is the clear leader with a very important advantage over Gisela Polido who is second.

The Flying Sardine FKSS 2020 Formentera today has had a full day in which tests of the Open category, of the F-One Amateur and of the new Wingfire speciality have been held. Those who were in the water for the longest time, the first exit took place after ten in the morning, were the thirty regatists of the Open category who could complete six sleeves in two so many. The wind was rising in intensity in the race field.

One of the keys of the day was the choice of the comet as the right compromise had to be achieved between the 21 and 19. Many went out in the second round of races with a comet that in the last two tests was too big, so some regatists decided to go back to land to change the kite, although they penalized the failure to reach the exit that was in the sea when they blew a hundred land.

The second and last day in which the regatists will have to get up early is scheduled for today as the first exits have been marked by 9: 00 in the morning in the Paradise spot of Illetas.

Formentera today received with its best galas to the Flying Sardine FKSS 2020 Formentera with the official training day... the 50 participants registered from 11 countries at the fourth stop of the Formula Kite Spain Series 2020 enjoyed a splendid day for the practice of the Kitefoil with a flat sea and a wind of about 14 knots in the area of Illetas.. tomorrow the first sleeves of the competition for the Open category and for the F-One Amateur are held for the first time a manga of the Wingfoil specialty.

In the Open category, 30 participants have registered among them some of the best regatists in Europe of the Kitefoil specialty. The great favorites for the final triumph are Russian Denis Taradin, Spanish Alejandro Citation and Tahitian Theo Ihostis, an example of overcoming as he is an elite sportsman despite being deaf. We must not lose sight of the Spanish Carlos Puig and the Austrian in Castelldefells, Simon Burner. While in the female category the two great favorites to the victory are the Spanish Gisela Pulido who currently leads after three disputed trials the general of the FKSS circuit and the Polish Julia Damasiewicz who, despite her only 16 years of achievement just yesterday in Formentera, is already the champion of the absolute Europe of the specialty, throne that he achieved this last August in his native Poland.

Those who did for the first time make a race in the FKSS were the participants in the new Wingfire class. A specialty that has more and more adept in Spain and that in the Formula Kite Spain Series they have wanted to make a space for them to start competing. Today the six registered regatists have been able to perform for the first time a manga with a slalom drive of one mile. The winner was Fernando Delgado, followed by Rubén Salvador and Angel Blanco. By tomorrow and the past, they are expected to be able to make more sleeves and have already the first winner in FKSS Wingfire. As regards the F-One Amateur category of the FKSS, the 14 registered were unable to complete the training sleeve for them. However, many were already able to train on-site in the Formentera spot and are ready to compete in which it will be the most popular race of the season with 14 participants including the two previous amateur race winners in 2020 of the FKSS, the Alicantino Regy Dils and the Valencian Diego Barona.
