According to Boluda Towage Europe, these days his tugboats escorted the heavy cargo ship Fjord of Boskalis, loaded with the first floating base for the floating wind park Kincardine, to the Maasvlakte II in Rotterdam... a total of five floating foundations will be transported from Ferrol in Spain to Rotterdam, for which Boskalis has deployed the Fjord as a semi-fuel barge.

The tugboats of Boluda Towage Europe will help the discharge of the floating foundation and will keep it stop and in position while several immersion tests will be carried out at various depths... after the tests, the floating base will be transported to SIF Offshore Foundations in Maasvlakte II in Rotterdam to mount the wind turbines in the floating base.

Once the process of assembly and testing of the floating wind turbines is completed, Boluda Towage Europe will help the sea tugs with the transport to the sea... the transport of the floating wind turbines will be carried out by Boskalis to the floating marine wind park Kincardine, which is located 15 kilometres from the coast of Aberdeen.
