"Raygrass" of the Carrumeiro Nautical Club of Corcubion, with Tom Núñez to the cane, was proclaimed on the afternoon of the absolute Sunday winner of the second cruise test of the Abanca Week, that of the north of Galicia that was held in the Villa of Sada: the Divine Regata Rei. The silver was for the Viguese pattern Carlos Sampedro Curbera with "Eleko Mambo" that competes for the Club Marítimo de La Penela and the bronze for which was the revelation of this series of heavy sail: the Sunfast 3600 Race "Lambaix" by Antonio Ríos of the Nautical Club of Sada. Total success of the already traditional fall quote of the Nautical Club of Sada chaired by Enrique Tostado, who is the vice president of the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week.

It should be noted that with the Divine Regata Rei have already competed in which it is a multinational regatta concerning national level, more than two thousand athletes of both sexes, who have done so since the early days of September; in the pyragüism, nautical skiing, light sailing, Olympic sailing, monotypes sailing and cruise sailing, under the strictest sanitary standards in all events that have been held in Vigo, Coles-Ourense, La Coruña and Sada. Now there are still rowing competitions that will be held in Marín, both at the level of traditional rowing and ergometer rowing, and of sailing in La Coruña: 420 and optimist.

With regard to the closure of the cruise race in Sada, it must be said that he had left the last hour. It began with bright, but with little wind in the center of the Sada Ria (a south of 7 knots), but enough for the fleet to sail with a certain loose in search of the beacons in the mouth of the Ares Ria. In the head always the "Lambaix" of Antonio Ríos, who made a regathon, but who did not have the prize he deserved, because when they were missing from 6 to 8 miles for the fleet and were at the mouth of the river of Ares, the wind disappeared and the judges chose for the most reasonable, when they were already materially impossible to reach within the time limit of any of the participants: to cancel the second test, and thus give definitive validity to the results of the Saturday.

In the Class of the ships of the largest length, the podium was made up of "Eleko-Mambo," "Lambaix" and "O Riás" by Ramón Carnota. For their part, "Raygrass," "Alma do Mar-Sadamar" and Golafre II "by Benito Calvo were the ones who commanded among the ORC B.

In the ORC for the smaller ships, "Mascato" by Enrique Vilariño del Náutico de La Coruña was the winner, followed by the "Pingón" of Networks of José Manuel Nabeiro and the Lucense of Portomarín "Mar de Viento."

In ORC Open that brought together the less competitive ships, vctoria of "Maximino" by Javier Araujo. The Carlos Sampedro with "Eleko-Mambo" and the "Raygrass" of Club Carrumeiro de Corcubion are the two ships that send in the Divine Regata Rei of Cruises ORC that immerses in the Abanca Week, celebrated its first manga in the rios of Ares and Sada, with very good conditions of wind, sea and temperature. For the second Sunday of this series, which will start at the edge of 12: 00 in the morning.

With quite a punctuality began the Divine Regata Rei organized by the Nautic Sada Club and the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week, with many ships in line of departure, sun, the soft sea and a beautiful south wind that rose from the 10 knots: all the ingredients to be able to live an intense day of navigation, in that field of magical regats that in the fall make up the incomparable riries of the Gulf Artebro.

The route chosen by the judges Pedro Alarcón and Ignacio Palmero was one with 13 miles, with exit from the center of the Ria de Sada, to search for the beacon of dismantling, to go to turn the beacon of the Mouron, from then back to the earlier beacon to head to the beacon of Ares and to take back the one that was initially the starting line. The wind ranged in the worst moments of 5 knots, until 15. In real time the fastest boat was the beautiful Sun Fast 3600 of "Lambaix" race that skates Antonio Ríos. His spine 02-13-40.

After those of Ríos, he crossed the line of arrival "Eleko-Mambo" by Carlos Sampedro Curbera, which was made with the offset victory of the class ORC A, being the third in real "Raygrass" by Tom Nuñez who beat in ORC B. Among the three just 00.02.06, which gives an idea of the fight among the fastest.

In the division of the ships of the largest length, behind those of Carlos Sampedro was the "Lambaix," being third "O Riás" of Ramón Carnota of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, fourth "Lachazan" of Ignacio Miguel Pedrosa of the Náutico de Sada and fifth "Mourisca" of the Coruñés Gonzalo Vázquez.

Among the ORC B the favorite was the "Alma do Mar-Sadamar" of Nito Enriquez, in which on Sunday he entered his crew as tactical the pattern of Return to the World the look established in Vigo Gonzalo Araújo... but "Raygrass" took away at least on Saturday his protagonism, having to conform after the first test, with the second place.

Third is now Benito Calvo of the Network Club with his "Golafre II," fourth "Moura" of the Nautico de La Coruña with Xoan Bermudez de Castro to the cane, and fifth "Golfiño" of the Nautico Club of Ares, with José Naya to the cane.

The Divine Regata Rei will have its closing act at the end of the second test at the Nautical Club of Sada. That will be between five and six in the afternoon (depending on the prevailing wind), and the Concello de Sada will deliver to the absolute winner the Trophy Villa de Sada, of this act of the Abanca Week in which despite all the problems has been achieved a really important level of participation with about 40 ships in competition. Everything undecided in Sada... even when between "Eleko-Mambo," "Lambaix," "Raygrass" and "Alma do Mar- Sadamar" the subject must be decided.

The Divine Rei Cruise Regatta of the Abanca Week organized by the Nautical Club of Sada will be held on a double day on Saturday and Sunday, with a participation of the order of the 40 ships. The presence will be the majority with regard to the northern Galician fleet, which will compete in the waters of the Ries of Sada and Ares from the three in the afternoon of Saturday, in a gymkana-like test between beacons, which will have its continuity on the morning of Sunday.

The great absence on this occasion will be the Farr 42 "Mirfak" of the Spanish Navy, winner of the last edition, which will not be in regatta because it is in the port, in the full process of repair, for the remarkable failures that caused several orcas in the era of Pontevedra, in an incident that alerted the public, because of the unusual of it.

On-line ships of the categories ORC (with full crew), as well as in the versions of single navigators, A2 (for two crew) and A3 (for three). To highlight among the favorites to the absolute victory the "Mambo" that patrons the Viguese navigator Carlos Sampedro Curbera as well as the "Alma do Mar-Sadamar" of Nito Enriquez, of which the great rod Gonzalo Araújo, the "La María" that is based in the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña, which will have Miguel Angel Fernández as its patron and the "Lachazan" of the Nautical Club of Sada. Another of the ships that is part of as a favorite is the "Lambaix" by Antonio Ríos, a Jeanneau with very regained design, which is also based in Sada.

Two other ships with the possibility of being up in the general, "O Riás" by Ramón Carnota, "Mourisca" by Gonzalo Vázquez, "Raygrass" by José Antonio Núñez and the "Mascato" with the Herculino Enrique Vilariño a la rea.

It is significant the presence of the units of Ferrolterra in competition, with units such as "Arbatro" of Luis Sanz de Ferrol, "Golfiño" of José Naya of the Club Náutico Ría de Ares, the "Golafre II" of the Maritime of Networks with Benito Calvo to the cane, "Grupo Bazan" of Joaquín Martínez Conejo, "Pezoas" of Nicolás Angel Alvarez also of Red... while I need to highlight the presence of the ship of Lucense "Mar de Vento" that patron Francisco de Assis of the Náutico de Portomarín.
