It was tried but it could not be, the absence of wind during the weekend in Gijón Bay took the fall with the fifteenth edition of the Hispanic Trophy... on Saturday it was not possible to celebrate either of the two magicians scheduled and on Sunday shortly after giving the exit to the first test the wind stopped blowing, forcing the race committee to cancel the test.

After lifting the deferral flag and in view of the fact that the weather conditions did not change, it was decided to terminate the Trophy.
