The ocean navigator Didac Costa has launched a crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising the 20,000 euros needed to start the Vendée Globe in the best conditions

The great ocean navigator Didac Costa has announced the start of his "crowdfunding" campaign in order to be able to participate in the Vendée Globe, the race back to the world without a stop or assistance... will be the second time that Costa is the only Spanish representative in this race.

The crowdfunding campaign begins as Costa and three other members of the team are crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to the Sables d'Olonne in the West of France... it is there that the Vendée Globe begins on November 8.

The navigator already resorted to crowdfunding during the last Vendée Globe, when a ray fell on the mast and destroyed the electronics a few days after the departure to the Sables... in this edition of the race, the team has obtained the support of several business partners but, still, the collection of funds has been hampered by the covid.

The crowdfunding will last only 30 days and will end on November 8, when Didac will leave Les Sables d'Olonne to start his adventure.
