The territorial presidents call for elections in the Spanish de Vela to Casanueva
The waters are revolting in the Spanish candle. The attitude and prepower of the president of the Royal Spanish Vela Federation, Julia Casanueva, around them has caused them to feel naught after the RFEV still does not call elections and instead an assembly is convened for issues that can very much affect the future of it.
Paco Coro, President of the Andalusian Federation and Vice-President of the Spanish Federation, has been established as the spokesman for much of the autonomous federations that are dissatisfied with Casanueva's performance, and as the ex officio members who have raised their voice.
Guillermo Poyan, president of the Madrilestra Federation, already raised his voice publicly in July for the same reason, and already denounced the disorder that was in Spanish, which is walking as a head-free, drifting chicken, and with Casanueva who is resisting leaving.
It seems only Catalunya is with Casanueva, as the president of the Valencia Community, Carlos Torrado, announced in his day that they would present an alternative, but that it has not yet become effective...
We then transcribe in a form the letter that Paco Coro sent this Thursday night in the WhatsApp group in which all the presidents are and in which by deference is also Casanueva itself, and where it reflects the widespread discontent that is currently in the Spanish candle.
Dear Friends Presidents,
We have recently all received from the Royal Spanish Vela Federation the call for the Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for the next day 21 / 10 / 2020 and to be held in telematics; they have also addressed the members of the Commission Delegate of the RFEV.
I would like to inform you that the representatives of several Autonomous Federations (as ex officio members of the RFEV Assembly) have addressed me personally as Vice-President of the RFEV and representative of the Autonomous Federations on the RFEV Board of Directors.
Several Autonomous Federations are asking me to urge President RFEV to delete several of the agenda items set for the said Assembly, including:
Adoption of the Economic Budget 2021
They understand that I am concerned that this budget should be approved by the new RFEV Assembly which should leave the ballot box and be elected by 31 / 12 / 2020, as established by the High Council for Sports. President RFEV has ignored the directives of the CSD and remains uncalled for.Approval of partial amendments to the RFEV Statute
The Autonomical Presidents are of the opinion that with this statutory change made at the last minute and that we do not know how it will affect the census and is a misguided way, the only thing that is intended is to restrict the right to vote of the different Federal Stations that constitute the Assembly (Federations, Clubs, Sports, Technicians and Judges). The important thing is to do the Electoral Regulation as it was done in 2016 and which was approved by the TAD, to call elections
For all of the above, I ask you to authorize me, on your behalf and on that of your Autonomous Federation, to transfer your requests to the RFEV and in such a way that the points of the agenda outlined above are SUPPORT; and also to urge President RFEV to convene elections as soon as possible.
A greeting to you
