The cycles of the week Abanca 2020 have been completed and it has done so at all levels, with spectacular regatta in the majestatic viguesa with the best J70 monotypes of Spain, which participated in the one that was the Villalia Open of Spain, during three days, for hard times, for plastely beautiful moments, that have organized the same class J70 olivica and the Náutico de Vigo, with an extraordinary technical quality, and that has on this occasion had the support of the Xeral Secretariat for Sport of the Xunta de Galicia, which was represented at the maximum event, by José Leasa, responsible for its closing, by José Leasa.

In the competition there was a J70 superior to the others... we could even say that this time it was much higher: "Noticia" with the Pichu Torcida to the cane and the lanzaroteño Rayco Tabares as tactic, completing the crew the madrileño Luis Martín Cabiedes, the also mountain Pablo Saturde and a snitch from another galaxy, such as the gijonese Francisco Palacio. In the nine sleeves held the J70 of the Royal Maritime Club of Santander enjoyed a pasmosa regularity: 1 (2), 2 (4), 3 (1) and 4 (2). They are fantastic numbers and more considering the high quality of their rivals. His victory without discussion.

For the metals there was a fight without barracks, between the "Marnatura 1" galaico, the "Patakín" Mallorcan and the "Eurofrits-Aviko" of Lanzarote. The order could be any one, but in the end by little margin of "Patakín" points by Luis Albert Solana of the Club de Mar de Mallorca took the silver, those of Alfredo Gonzalez de Arrecife the bronze (the result of achieving one of the first two of the closing day) and the Vigues of Luis Bugallo were rooms, despite their full beginning of this Open of Spain, as they won in their first two sleeves, which opened the event on Friday.

After the best, which were by far the first four, there was also a similar struggle for the fifth to the tenth places, taking the best part "Mercedes Benz" that competes for the Náutico de Barcelona and that of Arrecife, and that has to the cane one of the illustrious of the Spanish candle: Luis Martínez Doreste, who achieved the other first on Sunday, which was worth to be done with the fifth final place, which was not bad seen.

With success in this last day when the winds were from the west of 10 to 20 knots, another Viguese ship... the "Castrosúa" ship armed by Willy Alonso, with an excellent cane like Alberto García, with Antonio Pérez Castro... and a real luxury in Victor Mariño. This J70 was on a high level, relegating the Argentines of Gabriel Mariani to the seventh square.

To close the first, those of Jorge Martínez Doreste of the Nautical Barceloness of Vilanova "Bodegas Can Marles," as well as the "Green April" of Luis Pérez Canal that was made with the Corinthian Trophy that distinguishes the best amateur crew, which was ninth... closing the "top ten" Gonzalo Araújo with "La Guardia & Moreira" that began with malfunctions and bad luck and ended up very well.

Later the rest of the amateur podium: "Sogacsa" and "Solventis" of the coruñes Malalo Bermudez de Castro. After them also in good tone the Valencian "Leit it be," the Vigués "Pazo de Cea" by Ramón Ojea and the Orensans "Abril Rojo" by Jorge Péres Canal and "Bosch Service Solutions" by Alejandro Pérez Canal.

The next event on the bridge of Hispanity in the herculine bay, no less than the Finn Olympic Class Spanish Championship that organizes the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña and will have in competition for athletes from Spain, Czech Republic, Croatia, Venezuela and Japan.

The extreme regularity of the J70 "Noticia" of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander armed by Luis Martín Cabíedes, with José María Torcida a la rea and the lanzaroteño Rayco Tabares as tactic; it has taken a giant step in Galician waters to become the absolute winner of the Villalia Open of Spain, in the absence of a day. The event with the same category as a Spanish Championship, is being organized by the J70 Class Association of Vigo and the Royal Nautical Club... being immersed in Abanca Week and today it has already reached the 7 sleeves held.

After "Noticia" is located the vigués "Marnatura 1" that has as its patron Luis Bugallo Arriola and has Enrique Freire, Alberto Basadre, Gerardo Prego and Jorge Lorenzo as crews. In the provisional bronze the Mallorcan "Patakín" of the Club de Mar de Palma who with Luis Albert Solana as head of the ranks was the leader of the general at the end of the sixth manga. In the fourth square the "Eurografs-Aviko" of the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife of Lanzarote with Alfredo González of pattern. This lot of Gallegos and islands is in a handkerchief 26-27 points... but a long distance from Torcida (13 points) and with much advantage over its most immediate persecutors: "Spirit of Alginet" by Gabriel Mariani of the Yate Club Argentino de Buenos Aires (35), the Catalan "Mercedes Benz" by Luis Martínez Dorese (36) that goes along with the "Castrosúa" of Sancho Paramo of the Nautico de Vigo.

In the afternoon of Saturday, since no manga could be held in the morning, four sleeves were completed with an impeccable assembly by the judges of this Open of Spain. In the technical area, the work of Jaime García, as well as Víctor Calviño, Kevin, Hugo Fernández, Juan José Durán "Veneno," Diego Yubero, Manuel Moreno "Litos" and the technical director of the Náutico de La Coruña Chuco Pérez Lapuente should be highlighted.

The south-west winds of 7 to 15 knots made it easier for the sleeves to be very fast and agile. The partial victories were for "Patakín" the first, the Orensian "April Verde" of a very toned Luis Pérez Canal the following two and the remaining leader. In this way the general score is left in two partial wins for "April Green," "Marnatura 1" and "Noticia" and the remaining for "Patakín."

A real shame the results of Friday for three of the strongest ships of the Galician fleet: "La Guardia & Moreira" by Gonzalo Araújo, "Solventis" by the Coruñés Malalo Bermudez de Castro and "Abril Verde" by Luis Pérez Canal, that on Saturday, no incidents or failures like those suffered by Araújo, went up in general. Also among those who improved were the canarian-Catalan ship of "otro Martínez Doreeste," Jorge, "Bodega Cas Marlés" which is already in the top ten attached to "Mercedes Benz" on the table.

They continue to fight to enter the top ten also "Pazo de Cea" by Ramón Ojea del Marítimo de Canido, "Leti t be" by Juan Calvo Boronat del Náutico de Denia de la Comunidad Valenciana and the "Abril Rojo" by Jorge Pérez Canal... later the "Bosch Service Solutions" of the very young Orensian patron Alejandro Pérez Canal, the Mallorkines of Teo Matheu with "Nautia.net," the coruñes of the "Correa Kessler" of Toni Ardá and the Vigueses of the "Alberto de Valeira."

2020 / 10 / 02: Abanca Week: Spectacular start in Vigo del Villalia Open Spain of J70

"Noticia" with Pichu Torcida de pattern and Rayco Tabares de tactica that compete for the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, lead the Villalia Open of Spain of J70 that organize the J70 Class and the Real Nautical Club of Vigo, and that is immersed in the Abanca Week. In the second place is Alfredo González with "Eurofrits-Aviko" of the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife, completing the provisional podium "Marnatura 1" by Luis Bugallo del Nautico vigués.

The ship of Torcida, which also sails the Madrileño Luis Martín Cabiedes, the Santanderino Pablo Saturde and the gijonese Francisco Palacio, was the most regular of the opening day that took place in the Viguese river with winds from the north-west, which ranged between 18 and 25 knots. After three sleeves, judges with excellent criteria chose not to celebrate any more, as the wind continued to rise to 30 knots... and the breakages could be widespread in the fleet.

Excellent start of which this season is the main quote of the Spanish fleet of this monotype, which began with just half an hour of delay by the way despite the difficulties of the wind. The inaugural manga with the victory of Luis Bugallo with his "Marnatura 1," being "Noticia" second and "Eurofrits-Aviko" the third. Luis Martínez Doreeste, for his part, remained in the upper area, was fourth, with "Mercedes Benz" and Luis Albert Solana with "Patakín" of the Club de Mar de Mallorca closed the group of the fastest.

He warned one of the strongest by the Galician Navy... the "Sogacsa" with Páramo to the cane, as did the Argentines of the "Spirit of" Alginet. "These two J70 covered the manga at a large level; and this performance would repeat it in the following, which makes them at the top of the table. For his part" Castrosúa "by Willy Alonso with Alberto García, Antonio Pérez and the great Victor Mariño, was in this line of speed.

The negative part for the two "Abriles," better on this occasion Luis than Jorge, and for Gonzalo Araújo than with his "La Guardia & Moreira" had to retire in the first manga for a breakdown... which would lead him at the end of the inaugural day to an unusual square for him, as is to be fifteenth. These ships will improve much in the rest of Open Spain.

In the second new victory of those of Bugallo, being second "Eurofrits-Aviko" and third a very "Patakín..." fourth the "Noticia" and fifth Jorge Martínez Doreeste with "Bodega Can Marles..." who overcame his brother Luis who was the tenth with "Mercedes Benz."

And there was the third one in which Pîchu Torcida was able to impose himself for the first time... with a puncture of "Marnatura 1" which was ninth... which caused the widowers to lose their leadership. Second was a recovered "Mercedes Benz," third the "Patakín" Mallorcan and fourth those of Alfredo González of the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife, the fifths being the "Sogacsa," which has the pattern of Return to the World, Pablo Iglesias, among its crew.

But it should be noted that only three sleeves have been held (the initial forecast was four days) and that in the sixth each J70 will discard its worst score. That is why those who have a bad score, if they do not have an impact on it... can suddenly go up several positions: and this is the case of "Marnatura," "Mercedes Benz," "Sogacsa" and "Castrosúa..." who have not yet lost their chances of entering the first... especially Luis Bugallo, who has two first and would discard that ninth, who has watered the success of Friday.
