The national customers have been the major protagonists in most of the marinas associated with Marinas de Andalucía during the months of June, July and August, representing 70% of the occupation of the moorings as it appears from the data offered by the marinas associated, even reaching 90% in some of the associated ports. In addition to the Spanish, other nationalities such as British, French, German, Dutch or Belgian also stand out.

The current pandemic has made clear the fact that nautical tourism is a safe tourism, which has been noted in the average occupation recorded during the months of June, July and August in the associated sports ports, which has exceeded 71 per cent. In fact, the activity of the Andalusian seaports has only been reduced during the state of alarm decreed, except for the time of strict confinement.

The Andalusian marines have continued to receive requests for long stays, to carry out the work of the port and to meet the demand for daily transit (the one that makes point stops in some port during their journey to another destination) and their base customers (those that hire the moors for their boats on a permanent or annual basis) on a regular basis.

Since the beginning of the state of alarm, the marinas de Andalucía sports ports have taken the sanitary and safety measures dictated by the health authorities in all their facilities, for the personnel and the users themselves. In this way, sailing was one of the activities that could be carried out safely and without having to have contact with people or agglomerations; it was enough to take the car, park in the port and go up to the boat. These measures have continued during the summer months, in fact, most marinas have increased their templates precisely to strengthen cleaning and maintenance equipment.
