Tomorrow Sunday last day of this spectacular Spanish Championship in the waters of the Gaditana Bay

Curro Manchón, Fernando Martínez del Cerro, Pilar Lamadrid and Baleares Bernat Tomas and Andrea Torres, leaders in the absence of a day after a long day in the Gaditana Bay.

Long and working day today in the Gaditana Bay, where fleet and committees have taken patience to save the second day of the Spanish Raceboard and Open Foil Championship. A couple of chubascos in the beginning, the wind's fall and its variability were translated into long waiting and several nil exits, until at last two more tests could be validated for the Raceboard and Open Foil Male, and one more for the women and young people, sailing under complicated conditions also by the strong current and the deep sea that left the eraser.

By gathering experience and technique, the Sevillian Curro Manchón continues unstoppable towards victory in the Raceboard class, in which the NC windsurfer Puerto Sherry defends title. Manchón adds up to two new ones and comes unbeatable to the final day, no longer to the fight that the Toni Colomar and the brothers Alejandro and Álvaro Rivera of the CV Valdelagrana hold behind. Colomar holds the second square but is already under pressure from Alejandro Rivera, who puts himself to a point of the visitor with three of advantage over his brother Álvaro, fourth.

He could also be shown today by Fernando Martínez del Cerro that he was shooting the win between the Open Foil, a fleet that adds two more tests that had the winner of the Alicantino and member of the Spanish Olympic team Ivan Pastor.

The so many of Pastor who discards a bad result and is placed second, come very well to the athlete of the CAND of Chipiona to distance from the head in fifteen points on the pliers and the Galician Tomas Vieito, tied in second and third place, respectively. For his part Juan Manuel Moreno (Vistahermosa) rises one place to the fourth and puts the podium to four points, exceeding in seven Ramón Pastor (Saltwater Tarifa) who pricks on this day and places fifth.

Among the girls, a third one is worth Pilar Lamadrid (CN Puerto Sherry) to hold the lead one more day and reach the final day with two points of advantage over his team partner Blanca Manchón, winner of today's test. Manchón rises a position and the title is put to the shot, followed by Nicole Van Der Velden and Blanca Péraau (CN Sevilla), third and fourth, respectively. The fleet of women was one of those who today most accused the instability of the wind on an exhausting day.

The Juveniles also today add a test that again won the Bernat Tomas ballast, followed by the Andalusian Aurelio Terry (CN Sevilla). With his victory and the puncture of his immediate rivals, Tomas manages to distance himself from the head, while Terry achieves the expected reaction to place second to seven points of the shooting, a distance that depending on what happens tomorrow and with the discards even at stake, could be reduced to the most possible victory of the host.

The third position is also for the balar Álvaro Gestoso, followed by a point of the Sevillian Daniel Sánchez who is on the podium but keeps his options intact for the final day. Among the girls, the Andrea Torres Ballet is held first from the eleventh place of the general.

That and the first discard allow Martínez del Cerro to place second absolute and leader of the Spanish championship with three points of advantage over Pastor with the new iQFoil table.
