Decisive final day in the Spanish Championship of ILCA 7, Laser Standard, which today drops the curtain at the Ibiza Nautical Club, with the canary and member of the pre-Olympic team Joel Rodríguez as winner, followed by his team and club partner Joaquín Blanco, and the Valencian Jesús Rogel.
Joaquín Blanco began the championship as a leader, and has remained so until the last test, in which the title has run out of hand.
Today, White came with five points of advantage over Jesus Rogel and Joel Rodríguez, who followed him in this order. In the race field there was again an undecided wind of S-SW and between 8 and 11 knots of intensity, facing a first test in which Blanco marked the compass by adding a new first, while Rodríguez was second and Rogel third. The advantage of Blanco went up to six points and Rodríguez broke the tie with Rogel by two points.
New departure and new line of arrival, in which the triumph was for the icenco Carlos Roselló followed by Joel Rodríguez. The Coruñés Roberto Bermudez de Castro was on the provisional podium and relegated Blanco to the fourth square, while Rogel was sixth behind the Mallorcan Pep Cazador. At the time of the count, Blanco was still in the lead and kept Rodríguez four points away and Rogel ten. Not everything was won, not everything was lost.
And the final test came, in which Joel Rodríguez was used thoroughly until he won it, without White being able to exceed the eighth position and with Rogel crossing the line in fourth place. The numbers were clear, the discard of this last test by Blanco was not enough and was overcome in the final classification by his team partner with a single point of difference, thus closing a championship in which both have demonstrated a high level.
In Sub21, Pere Ponseti de Ciutadella has been very superior, closing the Top5 of the General and taking 30 points off the second classified, Marcelo Cairo de Cambrils, eighth of the General... closes the Pep Slayer of S'Arenal, ninth of the General.

The second was for the canary and partner of Blanco in the pre-Olympic team, Joel Rodríguez.
With a good mattress of points on the classified room, Carlos Roselló of the Nautical Club of Ibiza, the struggle remains among these three regatists who, once applied the second discard, approach their positions and promise an exciting final day trying to unblock from the first step of the podium to Joaquín Blanco.

Joaquín Blanco continues to lead the general classification, increasing his advantage with two new first to which he has added a sixth, maintaining an eight-point advantage over his partner in the pre-Olympic team, the torreviejense Jesús Rogel. The grancan tambén Joel Rodríguez recloses the provisional podium tied to points with Jesus Rogel... in fourth position is Pere Ponseti, of CN Ciutadella, first in Sub21.

29 lasers crossed the first line of departure of the ILCA7 Spanish Championship, Laser Standard, organized by the Ibiza Nautical Club.
The Torreviejense Jesús Rogel began winning, followed by the Andalusian Guillermo Flores and Arturo Martínez, while the second member of the Spanish pre-Olympic team, Joaquín Blanco, scored a 6 on its score.
Joaquín Blanco was thus going out with a desire to eat the world in the second sleeve, which added to the nerves of the waiting until the wind finally showed stable, to end with disparate results among the favorites. In Ibiza, 30 lasers from Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, Valencia and Galicia will compete.
The Spanish Championship of the class Ilca Standard (former standard laser class) organized by the Ibiza Nautical Club, has started today with technical verifications... tomorrow begins the competition in the waters of Platja d'en Bossa... with a total of 12 tests to be held this weekend... with the national title at stake.
Among the favorites the Olympic in Rio de Janeiro... Joaquín Blanco, Joel Rodríguez, and the current national champion Guillermo Flores, as well as the young Robert Bermudez de Castro of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, who is curling an excellent season.
