The Nautical Club of Altea will host the second series of the Valencian of optimist... will be in November

It was held in Valencian waters, organized by the Royal Nautico Club the UNICEF Cup with the quality of being noticeable for the Championship of the Valencia Community... the victory was for Carlos Espi of the Nautico of Valencia, being the second place for Fernando Puig of the Real Nautico Club of Denia, while bronze was for another optimist of the host club: Guillem Balaguer.

As for the sub 16 females, Carlota Gómez, of the Royal Nautical Club of Denia, was the first of the classification (and fifth in the general) followed by Irene de Tomás and Blanca Ferrando, both of the Nautico of Valencia.

In the male category sub 13 it was José Eugenio Ribelles who reached the highest level competing for the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante. In second position was Jorge Santos, from the Nautical Club of Altea, and collecting the bronze Eduardo Reyes, from the Nautic of Denia.

The Nautco of Valencia announces that it will be very demanding with the current health protocol

The Real Club Náutico de Valencia celebrates this weekend the Valencia Vela Infantil Trophy - A Regata in favor of UNICEF, a quote that is a classic in the September calendar of the Valencian club, and that traditionally brings together about two hundred Regatists of Optimist class. As has been the case, the race devotes part of the registration fee to collaborating with UNICEF vaccination campaigns.

This year, according to the measures of the Competition Committee of the Federation of Sailing of the Valencian Community, only the Optimist A class is involved in the race, being an autonomous and accurate championship for the ranking. The test has the participation of 70 children's regatists from all over the Valencian Community, who will complete a maximum of six tests between the days of Saturday and Sunday.
