Dona today gave the gunshot to the cruise class race season of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia following the outbreak of the health crisis.
24 ships have been made to the sea to measure forces on a 18-mile coastal route divided into two categories: Home - Dona and mixed crew. In the first, the teams are made up of a man and a woman, and in the second they are more numerous and mixed teams.
Shortly after two in the afternoon the first boats began to cross the line of arrival, after a journey in which they have invested two and a half hours the fastest and about 3 and a half the least. Chatín, by José Francisco Rubio, has been the winner in the Home-Dona category, with the second place for Newkote of Óscar Chulvi and with Kamchatka Two, by Agustín Albach completing the podium, all with very tight arrival times.
In mixed crew the champion has been Majoche, by Alejandro Fliquete, followed closely by the new M8 of José Luis Francés, both of the RCN Valencia and with the Impulse of Raúl García Flores, third.
