The Little Silvia of the Club San Telmo de Tui in Slalom Open and the Belgian based in Portugal Simon Christiaens in Wakesurf, have been proclaimed winners of the Abanca Week of Nautical Skiing, which with the Xunta Trophy of Galicia in play was held this weekend in the waters of Barra de Miño, in the Concello de Coles in Ourense

The current absolute Spanish subchampion of Slalom again dominated in the trials of Slalom, Silvia Pino, left the silver for the also Vigués Gonzalo Pamies.

In the senior category the results of the sabatina day were repeated: Francisco Fernández of the Real Club Náutico de León, current president of the Spanish Federation of Náutico Skiing, was the winner ahead of the olive-rich Ruy Andrade Pereira and the current national champion of "Figuras" the Orensano Alvaro Montes.

Precisely in the specialty of "Figures" Montes clearly dominated the Spanish number one. Here too, Ruy was the second and Francis had to settle for bronze.

In Sub14, Antonio Pascual of the Club de Tui, of the San Telmo, was imposed... the second being the Maestro Hugo Martín; while in Sub21 the best was Alberto Porto and the second Jaime Fernandes both of the Club Dumies of Ourense. To emphasize that both are considered the maximum promises of the Spanish Nautical Skiing.

In the minislalom victory of the Orensian Hugo Fernández, followed also by Dumies Pedro Fernández, the first squares were completed by the Pontevedreses Hugo and Pablo Puente del Náutico de Arcade.

In "Wakesurf" victory of Belgian Simon Christiaens, who competed for Portugal... followed by his brother Thomas. The bronze was for the tudense Antonio Castelo, the fourth square for Jean Luc Boussu of Belgium and the fifth also the Pontevedrés Alfonso Rey. In this category in girls, Aitana Vidal beat in front of Alejandra Alonso, both Orensanas, being the bronze for Silvia Mito.

Now the Abanca Week becomes for Vigo where the Canido and Vigo Maritime Clubs organize the third act reserved for the candle: 420, Laser and Vaien. In 420, the Spanish champions proclaimed yesterday in Cadiz: Jacobo García and Toni Ripoll, who have already confirmed their presence in the 44th Concello Trophy of Vigo, will be on their way out.

2020 / 09 / 12: The Abanca Week of Nautical Skiing began in Barra de Miño and sends Silvia Small

The Little Silvia of the Club San Telmo de Tui, is the leader of the Abanca Week of Nautical Skiing that began on the afternoon of Saturday in the waters of Barra de Miño in the town of Coles, with the Xunta Trophy of Galicia in play.

The current absolute Spanish subchampion of Slalom curved an exceptional manga in which he managed to match his best mark of 2019: "two and a half buoys at 55 kilometers per hour and 14 meters of rope."

After Silvia was located the Orensian Alberto Porto of the Dumies Club, being the provisional bronze for the also Vigués Gonzalo Pamies that competes for the Ourense Club.

In the senior category (equivalent to the master's degree in sailing), at the end of the day Francisco Fernández of the Real Club Náutico de León was imposed, ahead of the olive-rich Ruy Andrade Pereira and the current national champion of "Figuras" the Orensano Alvaro Montes.

In Sub14, Antonio Pascual of the Club de Tui, of the San Telmo, was imposed... while in Sub21 the best was Jaime Fernandes of the Club Dumies.

In "Wakesurf" the tandas were starting at the end of yesterday, as far as boys were concerned, because the girls had not yet started. Without being the final data, the Belgian Simon Christiaens is the provisional leader.

For the second and last Sunday day on the Abanca Week for the Nautical Skiing and the Wakesurf, with beginning in Barra de Miño at 9: 00 in the morning and expected completion at the edge of one and a half in the afternoon. Next will be the closing ceremony and the delivery of medals.
