With the waters of the Miño as a witness, Tui hosted the best pilots of the national panorama, with five communities represented: Andalusia, Valencia, Madrid, Cantabria and the host Galicia, being his ambassador the only Galician pilot to participate in the national arena of the competition, the Coruñés Emilio Cadaveira, who today has made a great career in getting up from bronze to silver in the category of the 7.5 cc.

In this way, the Santanderino Juan José Rivas, was made with the highest of the podium in 7.5 cc, being relieved the second square by the Coruñés Emilio Cadaveira to the detriment of the finally third, the Malagueño Francisco Javier Granero.
In 15 cc also the Valencian Luís Coll managed to maintain the golden position, alternating in this final phase the silver and the bronze, which were for the Spanish Antonio Sánchez and the Santanderino José Enrique González, respectively.
Finally, in 35 cc the winner was the leader of the sabatina day, the Spanish Antonio Sánchez, followed by the Madrileño José Luís Gutiérrez, who also kept the second square, entering the third position of the podium a new face, that of the cantabrian pilot José Enrique González.

Spectacular start of the Spanish Championship of Thermal Radio Control that this weekend houses the city of Tui, with a lively public atmosphere on both sides of the Miño.
Organized by the Royal Spanish Federations and Galician of Motonautica, the event is organized by two neighbours countries such as Spain and Portugal, and in which the Lusa Red Cross and the Spanish Navy collaborate, with Civil Protection and the Concello of Tui as the main sponsor.
First hot day, with a thermometer that was above 30 °, temperature that was also noted in the water due to the level of the participating pilots taking part in the national, only proof of the official calendar of the Spanish Real.
After formalizing the inscriptions and once the circuit of buoys in the form of capital "M," pilots and mechanics tested the water sheet on which this championship is already disputing, taking on the Committee of Judges of the Galician Federation of Motonautics, coordinated by its president, José Fernández - Nikis, to deal with a first morning test.
With three categories in liza - 7.5 - 15 and 35 cc., a first sleeve was drawn, leaving the second for the evening part of the day, completing two tests and leaving a third and decisive for Sunday.
