Luis Díaz and Nadia Erostarbe new Spanish absolute champions of Surf 2020

Fantastic surfing day in the last day of the Spanish Surfing Championship in Valdoviño. The Spanish champions in absolute category were decided with an excellent quality surf by all competitors.

The absolute, both male and female, offered a show to take off the hat. A wave of ten by Garazi Sánchez and five above 9, excellent, by surfers; Luis Díaz, Nadia Erostarbe, Andy Criere and Vicente Romero.

In the master category a final was lived in which consecrated surfers gave a show in which the cat would be taken to the water the imfuel Pablo Solar. The podium would be completed by the local Luis Rodríguez, Dani García and Miguel Perdiz.

Nadia Erostarbe would be the one to proclaim new Spanish champion in female surfing. A Basque-flavored final in which one of the best of the championship, Garazi Sánchez, would go to the drawer as a Spanish subchampion ahead of Melania Suárez and Janire González Extabarri.

In the great end of the male open category, the canary Luis Diaz would be untreatable to his opponents. With two waves of 9.50 and 9.33, the canary was imposed in a final in which in the last minutes Vicente Romero put the sauce and the emotion but it would not be enough to take away the first place to Diaz.

The podium in the male category would be completed after Luis Díaz; Vicente Romero, Andy Criere and the young Adur Amatriain, one of the great sensations of the entire competition.

Valvodiño again capital of the surfing... to begin Guillermo Carracedo and Ibala Ruano, repeat as Spanish champions

The first day of competition in the Spanish Championship was a good day on the beach of A Frouxeira. In this edition, which will be special for the health situation in Spain, the starting pistoletazo was given by the category SUP waves.

This campaign, which will try to group the categories by day to maximize security and minimize risks, will also be the twentieth birthday of the Spanish Federation of Surfing. Lourenço Chaves de Almeida, manager of the institution, recognized that "it is not the celebration we would have liked but, to be able to contest the championship in the situation we are already in is a success."

On the sports plane, point out the magnificent conditions with which it started the morning on the beach of the town of Valdoviño. With the low tide the waves and the surfing were the protagonists in the 2020 edition of the Spanish Championship of Surfing.

In the female category, Iballa Ruano would also be revalidated. They completed the podium Alazne Aurrechea, Alexia Kiefer and Esperanza Barreras.

The juniors also demonstrated their talent and guarantee the future of the SUP waves. The victory would be carried by the Andalusian Antonio Morillo ahead of Manuel Hoyuela, Antonio Serrera and Ricardo de Pables.
