ANEN Enrolment Report in August: increase in registration for charter

The registration of recreational boats in Spain slows their fall in the accumulated year, with -15% less records between January and August, compared with the fall of -28.7% in the first half of the year. From January to August 2020, 4,463 recreational boats were registered in Spain compared to 5,232 in the same period last year.
The rental of boats also improves with an increase in the registration of boats for use of rent in August of 5.74%. In the cumulative year, the registration on the rental market fell by -28%, compared to the same period of 2019, as a result of the paron suffered at the beginning of the season and until the beginning of the "new normalcy."
These are the data collected in the Report on the market for recreational craft for the period enero-August 2020, edited by ANEN on the basis of the data provided by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy.
All the slurries have a fall of enrollments in the year's accumulated and the ships from 12 meters are those that have the greatest fall of enrollments in the period enero-August, with a decrease of -33% for the slurries between 12 and 16 meters and -24% for the more than 16 meters.
