Good atmosphere and many ships for the already classic between Portonovo and Cabo de Cruz

"Ay Carmela" in A2 de Juan Martínez Pazó del Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas and the Coruñés ship "Alma do Mar" of Nito Enriquez in Cruises ORC, were proclaimed winners of the Regata Cruucero Hotel Galatea, which celebrated its second act between Cabo de Cruz and Portonovo on Sunday.

With good weather conditions and a route of 17.5 miles, with departure in the vicinity of the port of Cabo de Cruz, towards the Ría de Pontevedra, respecting the lower of the Esqueiros, respecting the lower of Paxariñas, passing the Camouco and heading to the arrival that was located in the vicinity of the nautical of Portonovo. The first day of the twenty-fourth edition of the Galatea Hotel Cruise Regata was held with unbeatable conditions for navigation, with a wind intensity around 10 knots and a west direction.

The Regatas Committee meeting the schedule, leaving at 14: 30 and chose a 17.5 mile tour, which went from the vicinity of the port of Portonovo, respecting the lighthouse of Picamillo to head to the Ria de Aroua, respecting the lower of the Esqueiros and to the arrival that was located in the vicinity of the Marina de Cabo de Cruz

The second day of this event, where the winners will be determined, will be on Sunday the departure to Portonovo at 12: 00 in the morning and will take place the reverse journey, from the river of Arousa to the river of Pontevedra, with a duration similar to the first race. Solitaries and A Two... or in the ORC groups the categories of this competition between Portonovo and Cabo de Cruz

The mariners of Portonovo and Cabo de Cruz are prepared to host the twenty-fourth edition of the Regata Crucero-Hotel Galatea, which will unify both ports... going through the Rias of Pontevedra and Arousa, on Saturday the route from the Pontevedresa town of Portonovo to the Coruñesa town of Cabo de Cruz and on Sunday will be the reverse route.

This race is punctuable for the Solitaire Circuit and A-Two that takes place in the nautical clubs of Portonovo, Portosín, Sada and La Coruña... this race being the second punctuable of the Circuit.

This year all participants will have to comply with the Galician Sport Protocol of the Royal Galician Sailing Federation and approved by the Xeral Secretariat for or Sport.

This race is organized by the Nautical Club of Portonovo and the Marina of Cabo de Cruz, the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, the Xeral Secretariat do Sporte, the Galego Sport Foundation, with the collaboration of the Galatea Hotel and the sponsorship of Gadis and Pescamar.
