The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia has already scheduled its first races of "new normalcy." They will be held in September, after the end of the summer and provided the health situation allows. To resume its competition calendar, the club has chosen to recover one of its classic spring tests, the Home-Dona Trophy, and also to hold a new height test, the 33 Miles A3.
In these two cruise class tests the crews are reduced, which facilitates greater control and prevention of possible contagies. In the Home-Dona Trophy, which will be held on September 19 with a coastal tour, the ships compete with teams made up of a man and a woman or a mixed crew made up of men or women at least 40%.
The 33 Mile A3, on the other hand, is a high race with teams of 3 crew. This is a new test created by the club, following with its objective of promoting the high-rise races that put into question the skill of the regatists, and add the dimension of "adventure" to the competition. In this case, the tour will be coastal, passing ahead of the beaches of Pinedo and El Saler.
The club has already published the race announcement and opened the registration for both tests.
