Naviera Armas Transmediterráneo premiere the ferry City of Valencia in the line Cadiz- Canarias

The addition of the ship to the line Cadiz- Canarias means to increase the load capacity by 30% over the current supply, which fully ensures the need for the transport of the cargo of the Company
The new ferry City of Valencia, the most modern ropax type ship of the fleet of Naviera Armas Transmediterráneo, has just premiered in the line Cadiz- Canarias, thus relieving the ferry City of Palma.
The delivery of the new ship - the largest of its kind built in the Visentinian shipyard - took place on July 30 and has recently been located in the port of Cadiz, where tomorrow it will start its operating life with a weekly rotation.
The City of Valencia is incorporated into the contract signed with the State until March 2022 and represents a significant improvement in the Cadiz- Canarias line, both in the times of rotation, and in the agility of the service and the capacity of loading and passage, so that every Thursday it allows to arrive very early to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In both ports, in addition, all possible combinations are provided with the interisland service of Naviera Armas Transmediterráneo, in a radio programming that connects the entire archipelago, being the only shipping company that currently makes it possible.
The duration of the trip between Cadiz and Arrecife is shortened by three hours so that every Wednesday it will arrive at Lanzarote at 7.30 p.m. The next scale will be in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where it will arrive at 0200 hours on Thursday and in the early morning it will continue to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, being docked at 0800 hours, so that every Thursday it operates in the two main ports of the Canary Islands, which is a new bet in the extraordinary service provided by Naviera Armas Transmediterráneo.
The City of Valencia will dawn every Friday in the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, on a scale that guarantees the second weekly shipment of the island banana production to the peninsular markets. On the return trip, on Friday night, you will be back in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and every Saturday you will attract in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura) and Arrecife de Lanzarote, starting in the morning of Sunday the return to Cadiz, where you will arrive at 8 a.m. Monday, also shortening the duration of the trip in three hours.
The new City of Valencia is a "smartship" with an area of 1,500 square meters on two decks for leisure and enjoyment for a thousand passengers on short international trips distributed in different environments. Because of its capacity for accommodation, amplitude and services on board - in which Naviera Armas Transmediterráneo has turned its entire experience - it makes it a very attractive boat for the Cadiz- Canarias line, where it is presented as the most outstanding novelty of summer 2020. It has accommodation for 604 passengers in 151 quadruple cabins plus four other Premium class cabins and two reduced mobility passenger cabins (PMR), as well as three pullman-type seating rooms for 189 passengers and one of them VIP class, reception, shopping area, food-lounge self-service, two lounge bar areas, day care, wi-fi connection, as well as a large terrace on deck 7 and other services. As for its cargo capacity it has a garage for 3,300 linear meters of rolling load, of which 2,564 linear meters are for road trailers (16.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide) and the rest for rigid trucks, vans and 263 cars. It has over 100 electrical connections for cold units.
