Aganplus participates in a study at the University of Las Palmas and the Canary Cluster
Aganplus, the Galega Association of Nautical Activities, has been invited to participate in the panel of experts that, at the national level, is developing a research study to identify the main changes to be made in Spain to promote the development and international competitiveness of companies related to the blue economy.
This collaboration has emerged in the framework of the relations that Aganplus, as the representative of Galicia in the project Capiten for the creation of the Atlantic Nautical Cluster, maintains with the Canary Islands and the recognition as an innovative entity in the development of the nautical and technology applied to the nautical sector in the European space
This study is promoted by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and is supported by the Maritime Cluster of the Canary Islands. Aganplus as a relevant entity in the field of the blue economy in the nautical activities, of nautical construction and repair and of coastal tourism with the coastal minicruceros of the Rias de Galicia, is working to ensure that the reality of the Galician nautical sector is taken into account.
The study seeks to identify the impacts that the Covid is having on the different subsectors of the blue economy, what measures to take or propose to minimize these impacts, what new laws or public policies should be promoted or modified, what new business practices should be promoted in the sector and what new expertise and training profiles should be promoted in the sector.
From Aganplus the innovative experiences of the coastal minicruceros were moved by the rivers as new alternatives to a massified tourism, the development of the network of tourist ports to bring the navigator closer to the Galician marine and tourist villages and villas, and the new technologies of reality increased from the sea that facilitate the discovery of the local heritage and culture from the sea by attracting the navigators to visit new places and tourists to come to live new experiences in Spain from the sea.
Participating at both the national and international levels in the cluster and in international associative structures is part of Aganplus's strategy to position Galicia as a cultural and innovative nautical destination to make nautical a strategic and future sector that can contribute to the exit of the crisis.
