The Andalusian Vela Federation has today proclaimed itself, in Águilas, a new Spanish champion for Teams after the final was imposed on the Balear Vela Federation by a tight 2-1. The third and fourth square has had as protagonists the Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana and the Canary Federation of Vela achieving the first of them the bronze medal.

A lot of equality and a lot of duels in each and every confrontation in the previous phase, when the best wind conditions have been with 6-7 knots on a 150º axis (SE-Southeast). The Canary Islands achieved 3 wins in the previous phase: Euskadi, Murcia, Comunitat Valenciana, so it gave the pass to the next round. In the same line, Baleares and Andalucía were located, with 3 wins respectively. The islanders over Comunitat Valenciana, Andalucía and Galicia, while the Andalusians faced the Canary Islands on two occasions and the duel that gave them the ticket for the next round was with the Balearic Islands.

La Comunitat Valencina managed to move on to the next round thanks to its direct confrontation with Catalonia and especially with the Balearic Islands. These two triumphs gave the Levines the ability to compete for the 3rd and 4th national square in front of the Canaries, who came from winning the Levines and their first triumph in the first confrontation of the day with Euskadi.

The final classification of the Spanish championship by Equipos de Autonomías has been left with the podium formed by Andalusia, followed by Baleares and Comunitat Valenciana. The fourth square was for the Canarias, followed by Catalunya, Murcia, a community that achieved a single triumph and in front of one of the strong federations such as Galician, Galicia and Euskadi.

The individual competition will be resumed tomorrow. The race committee plans to complete three tests, so that at the close of the day the gold and silver groups will be able to close the final phase in the fourth and final day of the championship this Sunday.
