This year, and due to the special situation of the Covit-19, face-to-face sessions have been reduced to the maximum, with most content and teaching being adapted to the non-face and online format.

Last Wednesday, the last online session of the courses called "Auxiliary Sailing Monitor" and "Auxiliary Windsurf Monitor," which had their day-to-day days, on 25 and 26 July, was completed in the Embargo de Entrepeñas reservoir within the municipal term of Alocén, in Guadalajara.

This federal training course has been developed in the semipresential mode, with the time load of 40 hours to which we have to add another 20 hours of practice in which the attendees of this course will have to go to some nautical school or sports club to complete their training... the number of students who have carried out this course of auxiliary monitor has been 14.

Most of the students came from different municipalities in the province of Guadalajara and others were members of the Serranlos nautical club of San Román de los Montes (Toledo) and the CKSC club of the Alarcón reservoir (Cuenca). In this course, the club Vicario Pantaniculas de Ciudad Real and athletes from different points of Castilla la Mancha showed interest.

During the course, numerous virtual meetings and talks have taken place by video conference, hours of assisted study and individualized attention and eight hours of practical classes carried out in the reservoir of Entrepeñas, with the collaboration of the Club Orillas de Alocén and SURF3.

The sportsman Pilar Prieto, was one of the teachers of this course, as in addition to her long and successful sports career as a windsurfing regatist, where she has achieved countless Spanish championships, is also well known her career as a water sports monitor.

Pilar Prieto, gave several subjects related to the work that future auxiliary monitors will do in sailing or windsurfing schools. This popular windsurfing regatist also collaborated during the day-to-day exercise to improve the level of navigation of the students of this course.

Among the contents of this course are those related to the training of the auxiliary monitors in the work of collaboration and support to the teaching, the safety in the practice of the sailing, the initiation to the meteorology, the legislation in the navigation, the knowledge of first aid and the theory of the sailing and the concepts of the navigation... the main objective of the Federation of Sailing of Castilla la la Mancha, by convening this course, has certainly been to offer an initial training of quality for all those interested in collaborating in activities and the sailing courses, as well as the personal development of many athletes through the participation in the sailing schools in particular, as of the sports clubs in the region, as in the sports in particular.
