• The new navy will concentrate multiple activities and proposals of nautical charter in a single space with 45 new moorings

The Port of Cambrils will host, in the coming months, a dársena of moorings dedicated exclusively to the charter and to the nautical activities in general. The space, a trouser with the capacity to concentrate more than 40 charter boats and similar at a single point, will allow all the public to start, discover and / or practice the nautical regularly through the rental of sailing boats, motor, light sail, water bikes, kayak, pádel-surf...

In this sense, in the heart of the Costa Dorada, an integrated space will be dedicated to the Port of Cambrils so that those companies in the nautical sector who want to, can offer and promote the services and activities of the nautical charter to the general public. The installation, which will be located in the central part of the Cambrils Sea Walk, will be named "Marina Cambrils" and is expected to be completed and operational next nautical season.

Behind this project, is the proposal that BeCharter, a specialized company in nautical charter that is part of the group Hermanos Guasch, presented to public competition for the construction and subsequent exploitation of a dart of moorings for charter boats in the Port of Cambrils. The BeCharter proposal has been chosen as the most advantageous of the three candidates for the competition.

In this way, BeCharter has obtained a concession for the next 15 years, which includes 45 new moorings for vessels of 5 to 15 meters long and other floating devices. Antoni Subirana, manager of BeCharter, has emphasized that "this concession is a good opportunity to develop the nautical activities and also the charter tourism on the Costa Dorada and the Terres de l'Ebre, in order to position us on the same level of the rest of the Catalan territory and the Balearic Islands."

"Marina Cambrils" will be located in an intelligent and environmentally friendly dársena. In this sense, the space will have floating pants, finguers, a fixed platform at the level of dock for offices, warehouse, access control and bathrooms, as well as the most innovative consumption control systems and a recycling area. A set accessible to all audiences with modern and high quality facilities designed for users to enjoy the sea and multiple navigation options from the same area.
