The J70 "Patakin" patronized by Luis Albert who competes for the Club de Mar de Mallorca, has proclaimed himself the absolute winner of the Villalia Spring Series on a global level, by scoring the sleeves held before the beginning of the pandemic. The Mallorcan crew, had high-quality regalsts, case of the Olympic lisboeta, Alfonso Domingos, as well as Karlo Hmeljak, the lanzaroteño Gonzalo Morales and the Galician David Louzao de Villagarcía de Arousa.

This was made public by the J70 Class, while officially confirming that the Spanish Championship will take place in the waters of the river of Pontevedra, organized by the Marina de Commud in the town of Poio bordering the capital of the province and the class itself based in the city of Vigo. It will be between 2 and 4 October and will form of the Abanca Week... it will not be the first time that the beautiful marina villa known internationally for its splendid Monastery and for the traditional horreos on the banks of the river, welcomes this multinational race, as it already did a few years ago with the celebration of Olympic rowing competitions.

Villalia has confirmed that he will also be the sponsor of the Spanish Championship, within his philosophy of supporting the sailing of the whole country, with special emphasis on Galician and Canary waters. Hence the very important presence of lanzaroteans and canaries in the J70 tests that are based in Vigo or in this case in Poio. To cite some examples, they have competed in the Villalia: by Lanzarote (Rayco Tabares, Gonzalo Morales, Ricardo Terrades or Paco Riveras); by Las Palmas (Toni Rivas, Martínez Doreste, Aleix Gelabert, Carlos Robles or the Olympic Gold Medal Domingo Manrique)

After "Patakín," the five-time J80 world champion "Eurofrits-Aviko," also featured the world champion Alberto Padrón and Jon Larrazabal, and the Viguese Miriam Gonzalez Esteban... and the "Marnatura 1" who patronized the component of the Spanish Team of the Young American 'a Cup Luis Bugallo of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo.
