Second day in Baiona of the Spanish Championship of Aquatic Motorcycles, with the plans changed for this day of the national competition, where the Commissioner General of the test, Eduardo Botías, had to choose another strategy and run a new Rallyjet, as the dense fog prevailing on the Costa de la Vela, left little visibility to guarantee the safety of the pilots on the Offshore routes scheduled for the last day of the competition.

Pastorello again demonstrated that he is in good shape, making himself with the podium of Baiona's GP1 for the second consecutive day. The French, with great charism among the amateur public and his most immediate persecutors in the classification, thanked the gesture from the top of the podium. In the second square he was followed by the Bat Andoni Gutiérrez, with the third being the Marrileño Pedro Espadas.

In GP2 the bat Juan José Romero went back to the drawer. If I did it on Saturday at the silver stand today, I would break the triumph with the golden stand. He was followed by Omar Castaño, also from Murcia, closing the podium Miguel Allo.

In GP2 Promotion the leadership of the classification was for two other bats, Antonio Gonzalvez and Joaquín Hernández, being third the Asturian Adrián Hernias.

The Madrid Carlos Vela took another gold in Sports GP1, followed by the representative of the Royal Spanish Federation of Motonautics, Anton Rico, being third Amador Ferrer, of Murcia.

In GP4 there were only two pilots who looked at the landscape from above, Alejandro Prats, from the RFE of Motonautics; and Nicolás Lanfranco, from the Federation of Madricala.

In GP1 Atmospheric he went back to the top of the Pastorello podium, Jr. Hugo, who also continues to succeed his father, maintaining the same configuration as the results of Saturday, with Enrique García in the silver and Antonio Cabrera in the bronze, of the bat and the Andalusian, respectively.

The Rallyjet mode marked the beginning in Baiona of the Water Motorcycle Spala Championship... in play Trophy Concello de Baiona that brings together the best pilots of the national panorama... in competition 52 pilots, distributed in the six official categories that make up the sports itinerary of the Royal Spanish Federation of Motonautics, taking the shared exit between GP1 and GP2 Promotion, the first, GP2 and GP1 Atmospheric, the second, and Sport GP1 and GP4, closing the day.

A total of six sleeves were held, three in the morning and three in the evening which, although with shared traces the results were individual in each of the six categories.

In the Reina Division, the GP1, the French Jean Pastorello began his term of office, with the podium of Baiona. He was followed by the bats Samuel Pujante and Andoni Gutiérrez, in the second and third squares, respectively.

In GP1 Atmospheric the first square was awarded by Pastorello Jr, which follows the paternal saga. Second was Bat Enrique García and third the representative of the Andalusian Federation, Antonio Cabrera.

In GP2 Murcia he continues to command the podiums. Rubén Jiménez and Juan José Romero, took the first two squares, while the third one went to Valencia in charge of Julio López.

In GP2 Promotion the leadership of the classification is for two other bats, Antonio Gonzalvez and Joaquín Hernández, being third the Asturian Adrián Hernias.

The Sport GP1 are in charge of the Madrid Carlos Vela, followed by the representative of the Real Federación Española de Motonática, Anton Rico, closing the Andalusian drawer Francisco Javier Prieto.

Finally, the GP4 are led by Alejandro Artiñano, of the Federation of Madrilestra, followed by Alejandro Prats, of the RFE of Motonautica, being third Nicolás Lanfranco, also of Madrid.

After this first technical day, with a buoy-to-buoy route that offered a great difficulty in the gymkana section, tomorrow Sunday the Offshore numerals will be held, with about 100 nautical miles for the GP1 and just less for the rest of the categories, drawing rounds between Baiona, Sanxenxo and San Simón, between the Ries of Vigo and Pontevedra.

The Real Federación Española de Motonática has confirmed the participation of more than half a hundred pilots in the first test of the Spanish Championship of Aquatics, which is held in Baiona this next weekend.

After the closure of the registration last Tuesday, the maximum entity that governs the sport of the motoronautics in our country, has made a communication with the provisional list of pilots that on Saturday, July 18 will be on the exit grill of Santa Marta.

The current categories for both the Rallyjet (Saturday, July 18) and the Offshore (Sunday, July 19) will be Runabout GP1, Runabout GP1 Atmospheric, Runabout GP2 Promotion, Runabout GP2, Runabout / Sport GP1 and Runabout GP4.

Melilla, Madrid, Alicante, Murcia, Lugo, A Coruña, Pontevedra or Vigo are a large part of the cities of origin of the best pilots of the Spanish panorama.

The Spanish Aquatic Motorcycle Championship is the main host and sponsor of the event to His Excellency Concello de Baiona, as well as Sporte Galego de la Xunta de Galicia y Efectos Navales Jesús Betanzos, the logistical support of the Puerto Deportivo Baiona, the Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, the Real Club Náutico de Vigo, the Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas, the Club Marítimo de Canido and the collaboration of the Superior Council of Sports, the Dutevedra de Pontevedra, LaLiga Sports, Murimar Seguridad and TacTic Audiovisual.

The Spanish Aquatic Motorcycles Championship will be held on July 17, 18 and 19 in the Villa de Baiona, being the first test of the competition calendar in 2020 for the concession of the Royal Spanish Federation of Motonautics to the Galician Federation of Motonautics, having as the main host and sponsor of the event to His Excellency Concello de Baiona, as well as Sporte Galego de la Xunta de Galicia y Efectos Navales Jesús Betanzos, the logistical support of the Puerto Deportivo Baiona, the Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, the Real Club Náutico de Vigo, the Liceos Marítimo de Bouzas y de Canido and the collaboration of the Superior Council of Sports, Recitación de Pontevedra, LaLiga Sports, Murimar Seguridad and TacTic Audiovisual.

The presentation was held in the Salon de Plenos del Concello de Baiona, an event conducted by its Mayor, Carlos Gómez, and attended by the President of the Galician Federation of Motonautica, José Fernández; the Provincial Diputado de Sports, Gorka Gómez, the Chief of the Provincial Service of Sports of the Xunta de Galicia, Daniel Benavides; the Concelleira de Sports of Baiona, Miriam Costas; the Chief of Safety of the Protest, Francisco Pereira; and the representatives of the Maritime of Bouzas and Canido, Manuel Veiga and Emilio, respectively.

The two types of competition that will be put on stage are the Rallyjet and the Offshore, intended for the categories GP1, GP2 and GP4, the first two with a greater distance tour, the third being somewhat less due to their technical conditions and that will only fight the Rallyjet.

The Rallyjet is a mode that is developed under a technical design between buoys, with a distance per turn around 3.4 miles (just over 6 km.) and over which you will have to draw several turns to complete 25 minutes of established time, adding one more.

The water sheet on which this test will be installed will be the vicinity of the beaches of Santa Marta, La Ladeira and Playa América, extending the circuit inside the Ensenada de Baiona without at any time interfering with the maritime traffic, both from the transport of ria, fishing port and users of the marine surrounding.

The Offshore test is a set of long routes to complete about 100 nautical miles (about 185 km.), where the resistance is the handicap for both pilots and machines.

Both the physical preparation and an excellent development of the water bikes are essential to be able to complete all the tracks, which in this Sunday day will take the participants from Baiona to the Ría de Pontevedra, Ria de Vigo and Ensenada of San Simón, performing the categories GP1 and GP2 the complete route of the way and back on the Costa de la Sela, and two turns to the Ría de Baiona and San Simón for the first and only one for the second.

During the day before the Spanish Aquatic Motorcycle Championship, on Friday, July 17, the Judges of the Spanish Royal Federations and Galician of Motonautica will also be available to pilots and mechanics from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., in which time they will monitor the motorcycles for their technical inspection and verification, necessary and compulsory to be able to participate.
