"Marnautura 1" with all in his favor did not overcome the work and "Noticia" won the Villalia in Vigo
"Noticia" of the Royal Maritime Club of Santander was proclaimed on Sunday afternoon, winner of the Villalia J70 Series that ended in Galician waters, with the organization of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the J70 Class based in the olive city. The ship, sponsored by José María Torcida (RCM Santander), had Rayco Tabares (RCN Arrecife), Francisco Palacios (RCAR Gijón) and also the cantabros Luis Martín Cabiedes and Pablo Saturde. The silver was for the shooting ship "Patakín" of the Club de Mar de Mallorca with Luis Albert to the cane, with a crew in which he highlighted the Olympic lisboeta Afonso Domingos, which tied to points with "Noticia..." that surpassed it by achieving three first partial. The bronze was for "Marnatura 1" by Luis Bugallo, who told his crew by regatists to the full of the Nautico de Vigo: Enrique Freire, Gerardo Prego, Alberto Basadre and Mateo Vázquez. The next large-scale event, the Spanish Championship, will be held in the waters of the Pontevedra ria, by the hand of the Nautical Club of Commud of Poio, and is immersed in the Abanca Week.

The day of closure in viguese waters was more than acceptable, with winds that began to be from the north-east and ended up being from the west... between 7 and 13 knots... the result of which was completed three sleeves, which were won by "Eurofrist-Aviko" (Santander's Maritime), "Mercedes Benz" (Barcelona's Royal Nautical Club) and the closure that was worth the absolute victory for "Noticia."
It should be noted, which makes very clear the very high level... that after the first manga of the day the leader was "Patakin," after the second "Marnatura 1..." that when he had everything in his favor to win... his low score (entered from 14) gave the victory to a regular "News."
To highlight the "Patakin" that as a tremendous consistency in all its actions, he was about to give the zest: 3º-5º-3º-2º-4º-4º-5°. Two ships that in the end lamented the spikes of the strange Saturday test, were two great Galician patterns, case of Gonzalo Araújo with "LaGuardia & Moreira" and Luis Pérez Canal with "April Verde," who deserved much more... worth the fact that Araújo was only one point from Luis Bugallo!.
Reaction of the canaries of the Real Club Náutico Gran Canaria that compete for the Náutico de Barcelona: the "Mercedes Benz" that finally gave signs of its power by winning one of the sleeves on Sunday, being the seventh in the final list, ahead of the Valencians of the "Leti t be," the vigueses of the "Sogacsa" of Sancho Paramo and the amazing and young Alejandro Pérez Canal that with "Bosch Service Solutions" treated you, all the favorites and got himself on the top. 11-07-2020: "Noticia" (Santander), "Patakín" (Mallorca) and "Marnatura 1" (Vigo) command in the Villalia of J70

If Friday's day was successful in terms of wind conditions, the same cannot be said for what was happening on Saturday: the wind was too soft, and despite the efforts of the judges almost nothing could be done... and what could have been saved, it would not have been bad if it had not been saved (Photo Maria Muíña)
"Noticia" armed by Luis Martín Cabíedes, with José María Torcida of pattern, Rayco Tabares of tactical, the asturian Francisco Palacios and the cantabre Pablo Saturde in manoeuvre... continues to lead the Villalia Series of J70 that this Sunday end in Galician waters and are being organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the J70 Class of the olive city. Today the series will be completed with a programming of at least three sleeves, which must start at the edge of 10: 30 in the morning in the Viguese era.
First it was decided to eliminate the coastal test... and then already in the early hours of the afternoon with a smooth west breeze of seven knots, it was tried: the result wind roles and two cancellations of so many other exits. Later, with the wind in the north-west and five knots the exit was given and the Regatas Committee chose to shorten the tour, and for the showers.
The test was for the "Valmy Atlántica" with Alberto Figueira a la rea, in which Víctor Marino, one of the best regatists at European level, sailed. After the Viguese ship "Patakín" of the Club de Mar de Mallorca, which in this way gets into the ointment for the first square, being second to just two points of "Noticia." Third was also the ship of the Maritime of Santander "Eurofrits-Aviko" that goes up to the sixth in the general.
Of the Gallegos the best, after those of Figueira, was on this occasion the "Sogacsa" of Sancho Páramo that sails with another illustrious, with the rover Pablo Iglesias, followed by "Castrosúa" by Willy Alonso and "Pazo de Cea" by Ramón Ojea. In the negative part the "Mercedes Benz" of the Barcelona Nautico, which still does not react and which is hardly kept in the top ten, precisely in the tenth place.
What is clear is that if two sleeves were to be held on Sunday at least, each J70 will be able to cast off its worst score... so in this hypothetical case, in addition to the power of "Noticia" in the lead, the second in discord would become "Marnatura 1" by Luis Bugallo, and baccos such as "LaGuardia & Moreira" and "Oils Abril" would strengthen its position, by dispensing with high scores.
So for the moment is the general, of these Villalia Series that have gathered in Vigo to the largest of the national fleet of J70, the monotype of fashion.

"Noticia" (Santander) and "Marnatura 1" (Vigo) escape in the Villalia J70 Series of Vigo

The provisional leader is the Torcida cantabre that has Rayco Tabares of the Nautico de Lanzarote (Photo Maria Muíña) as tactical
Noticia de José María Torcida del Real del Club Marítimo de Santander, leads the Villalia Series of J70 at the end of the first day, which began yesterday in Galician waters with the organization of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo and the Class J70 olivica... Marnatura 1 with the vigués Luis Bugallo de patrama and the balar Luis Albert with Patakín of the Club de Mar de Mallorca, completed the provisional podium. For the second day of Saturday of this series that brings together the main J70 of the Spanish fleet... and that has the great novelty of a coastal test as opening... the choice between the island of San Simón or the Cis islands... will be made by the judges according to the prevailing wind.
They started the sleeves with a discreet delay of a half hour, just the necessary wait for an excellent wind of component to come in by scratching the north that at times reached 18 knots... with this the show was served... with two consecutive victories of the Santanderino Noticia that has as tactical the regatist of the Nautical Club of Lanzarote, Rayco Tabares that is known what it is to be world champion of sailing.
The third sleeve was for another great pattern, Luis Bugallo with Marnatura 1. In any case in the afternoon of Friday a group of five ships were generated that have laid land by means: the three mentioned, more Gonzalo Araújo with his LaGuardia & Moreira that is tied to points with the third, which is the Patakin, and a just one point back the Green April of the Orensian Luis Pérez Canal... between these five and the sixth that was the Mercedes Benz of the Nautico of Barcelona an abyss.
It is important to highlight the excellent day of one of the younger patterns: Alejandro Pérez Canal, who occupied the sixth square and which allowed to relegate to the eighth place the crew also Santanderin commanded by that great pattern that is Alfredo González, the Eurografs-Aviko. To close the top ten, Sogacsa de Páramo e Iglesias, and the J70 Valencian Leti t be de Juan Calvo Boronat.
Who failed to enter this group was the "Pazo de Cea" of Ramón Ojea, who was the first tenth, and who was the best of the third group, with patterns such as Alberto Figueira, Jorge Pérez Canal, José Luis Freire, Willy Alonso, the Coruñés Toni Suárez or Alberto Iglesias.

The athletes will have to use masks, and there will be temperature controls through the logical individualized check... the season of the world-wide fashion monotype starts in Vigo with the best in Spain (Photo Maria Muíña)
The national fleet of J70 returns to activity in Galician waters, after the forced stop by the pandemic. It will be the Villalia Series that, as prior to the Spanish J70 Championship, will be held in the waters of the Pontevedra ria in the next October, in Comarto, which will make a reality that can again compete, in this kind of monotypes, which is certainly the one that will premium at the world concert.
With the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Association of the Class based in the olive city, there will be three intense days, which already have a slogan for those who will compete: "The last battle... in Rande." On Friday it will start at the edge of three in the afternoon, on Saturday the races will start at 11: 30 in the morning, and on Sunday an hour before.
The first day will be "usual" with three "sticks" with an hour of duration in the central area of the river of Vigo. The first field in the beach area, the second front of the Morrazo and the last in the inner area of the bay.
The Saturday will be a new day, as there is intention that the first manga will be coastal (with two options, one to San Simón starting from the Rande area and one to the Cis Islands) and then in the area at the end of the coast, at least one "barlovento-sotavento." On Sunday he will return to the traditional "sticks."
In line of departure the most grenade at the national level: based at the Real Club Nautico in Barcelona, but with an entirely canarian crew the "Mercedes Benz Sailing Team..." with the Puerto Rican Toni Rivas de rea and Carlos Robles... the gerundense Aleix Gelabert and and the tambourine Ricardo Terrades... is a priori the great favorite.
For the Valencian candle the "Leti t be" don Juan Carlos Borfonat to the reed in command of regatists of the Royal Nautical Club of Denia, Real Nautical Club of Valencia and the Real Nautical Club of Denia. By Baleares, there will be Lujis Arbert of the Club de Mar de Mallorca with his "Patakín..." Cantabria will have two J70 in competition; on the one hand, the "Noticia" of Pichu Torcida of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, with cantabros crew, as well as the aroteño launcher Rayco Tabares, the asturian Francisco Palacios and the bat José Manuel Ruiz... and on the other "Eurochrits-Aviko" by Alfredo González.
On the part of Galicia, "Marnatura 1" with Luis Bugallo and Enrique Freire; "La Guardia & Moreira" of the great Gonzalo Araújo, "Castrosúa" of Willy Alonso, "La Taberna del Náutico" of Alberto Iglesias, "Sogacsa" of Sancho Paramo, "Valmy Atlántica" of Alberto Filgueira, "Marnatura 2" of José Luis Freire and "Pazo de Cea" of Ramón Ojea "by clubs of the south. In the north" Solventis "of the Coruñés Malalo Bermudez," Correa Kessler "of Toni Suárez also of the Nautico of Ares. For the interior area two Orensians under two of the favorites: Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal, with their" Red April "and" Green April. "
