The sailing in the Community of Madrid is being launched. With all the security measures and maintaining all the protocols established by the General Directorate of Sports of the Community, the Real Club Nautico of Madrid hosted the first race, after the return to the new normalcy, celebrating the autonomous of the Soling class in which the bulk of the fleet participated with 13 ships, under quite acceptable conditions of wind in general lines that allowed to complete a total of 4 tests.

The 'new' Sanbo, by Carlos Elósegui, counting on his crew with Cuco Gómez and Juan Ramón Jiménez, was made with the territorial title of the Soling class thanks to the partials of 3-2-1-2, totaling a total of 8 points. The second square was for the boat Guía II, led by Alfonso Colón de Carvajal, completing the team with Manuel Allo and Jorge de la Nuez, staying 3 points from Sambo. Only the 8th place in the 3rd test kept them from achieving the title, as in the other three tests they managed to win each one.

The podium was completed with Bondi, with the triplet formed by Mikel Álvarez, Guillermo Parodi and Alejandro Ablática. The Alvarez ship started with a discreet 7th place, improving in the following three tests: 3-2-4, adding a total of 16 points, to 5 of the second and 8 of the first classified.

The Madrid Federation is currently working to restructure the calendar that was paralyzed after the state of alarm was decreed to be able to celebrate and host the autonomous tests that were postponed by the Covit-19 pandemic.
