The national surfing coach level I is an official sports qualification in the BOE that trains people to be surf sports coaches and during the last week of June and the first of July will be held in Galicia.

Those who pass the access test will have to perform the common, specific and practical block. For the period of practice it is estimated that these should be made and presented the document which so attests to it in the federation, within 6 months after the end of the school period.

Structure of the access test

Swimming test: The aspirant will perform a circuit of 200 meters, with the following order: 50 meters of race on the beach, entrance to the water, swimming to a buoy located 50 meters from sea to inside, return swimming, exit by the same point of entry and race 50 meters to the line of departure.

Surf test: For a maximum time of 12 minutes the applicant must perform the following actions: to enter the water, to reach the breaking area, to surf at least two waves, and to leave the breaking area to get back to the shore.

The blocks

Common block: It will be done online through a platform throughout the month of mayo-June. The final exam will be online on Saturday, August 1.

Specific block: This block will be made at CENIMA on the weekends of 26 June and 3 July of this year.
