The president of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo, José Alfredo Bea García, has presented to the "National Committee of Competition and Disciplinary Regime of the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo," a complaint against the president of the federal entity, Juan José Román Mangas, and the members of its Board of Directors.

According to the Galician, the reason for the complaint is based on irregularities in the collection of a canon for the organization of the World Championship of non-Olympic distances, which the federation that chairs Fredi Bea wanted to organize in the town of Ourensana of Castrelo de Miño.

The Spanish Federation endorsed Castrelo de Miño's candidacy to be the organizer of a Sprint world, this event would be the first time that it was held in Spain, a twenty years after the Sevilla World Cup.

After all the permits to be eligible for the nomination were drawn, the surprise came in the form of a canon of 15000 euros that the Spanish wanted to charge to the Galician, because it was the host of the competition, to this amount had to be added the 10000 euros that the International Federation would charge.

This fact, makes the headquarters of Castrelo de Miño not present, the discomfort with this canon is remarkable for several reasons.
