The Spanish Championship, postponed last April, except for changes will be held in late September or early October, maintaining the headquarters of Valencia
Spain continues to advance its return to new normalcy. For weeks the 29th class of Spain has been working intensively with the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela in order to be able to carry out its official competitions, always following the guidelines of the Higher Council of Sports and the Government of Spain on security matters, in all its lines.
In this sense, the 29er Spain fleet, hopes to be able to celebrate the Spanish championship that was scheduled for early April at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia at the end of September or the first week of October. The Valencian club has already expressed its intention to host this national meeting and that due to the state of alarm caused by the Covit-19 pandemic was postponed.
The dates for this championship in the capital of the Turia will be determined shortly, after the Federation confirms the calendar of official competitions. It should be recalled that after the last communiqué of the federal authority, all official competitions were decided to be postponed until 30 June.
The Spanish Cup was set for October 9-12 at the Nautical Hospitalet- Vandellós Club in Tarragona. As of today, and if there is no setback, everything is kept equal to the exemption of the Tarraconense headquarters and the Federation, after restructuring the entire calendar of official competitions in the classes of children's sailing and light sailing, mainly.
