The changes in sport, which appeared in the BOE, give the opportunity for double vessels to resume their work in the water
The double crews that will represent Spain at the next Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 return to the Prince Felipe Special High Performance Centre in Santander to resume their training in the next few days.
The re-entry of these equipment, which compete on double vessels, will be done gradually and under the health protocols established by the bodies responsible for this regulation.
Spain has 7 of the 10 possible classes classified for Tokyo and, since this week, the double classes (4 of the 10 categories admitted in the next JJ.OO.) resume their training.
Thus, the RFEV elite representatives and members of the Olympic team of 49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17, 470 male, 470 female and Finn will be incorporated, individually and step by step, into the activity of the CEAR of Vela Príncipe Felipe.
Among the teams that restart their activity are Jordi Xammar and Nico Rodríguez (470 M), Diego Botín and Iago López Marra (49er) and Silvia Más and Patricia Cantero (470 F), the three as number 2 of the world ranking, as well as the World Champions 2020 of 49erFX Támara Echegoyen and Paula Barceló, 7th in the World ranking and Tara Pacheco and Florian Trittel, 10th in their ranking, as well as the individual category Finn with Joan Cardona and Alejandro Muscat.
